    If its your own dog then yes.......... Aye, which is a fairly massive assumption that came out of cuckoo land. Taking your own dogs is fine. But saying it's ok to take a dog as long as you work it. . . . .wherever you take it from, Or that it being put down is better than being in a shelter that will rehome it. . . . . . Is a bit shit.

    Depends what the 'clan' consists of mate, if it's just jills, and no real nutters or hard ones, then pretty much from 8-12 weeks. Not with hobs though, for obvious reasons.

    Try 'hunting', i can see how all this sitting about waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, in full camo, in the baking sun, to shoot a 6 inch kit could get a bit dull. But like has been said, no point selling it all if you don't need the money, you will just lose cash and lose it again when you re-buy. Take the summer off to do other shit and return with a fury in September.

    I know that the lads dog got ripped up, and that's terrible, but that is mainly down to the lack of ability of the usual volunteer idiots they have at these places. I don't think getting a dog put down for being dog aggressive is that fair, or going up to their charity dog show and parading the whippet round trying to convince folk not to adopt any of the dogs from there. Yes, the person in control of the dog was a retard, but for all we know the dog could be known dog aggressive with other males, and that would not put him in an exclusive catagory, and should not mean you strive to st

    Start early in the day, put up a long net, and purse net what you can to stop hole hoping, and take a decent dog (although watch them smashing themselves on the rubble). Also make sure you take the appropriate tools for moving / digging into the rubble if you do decide you need to dog a ferret out (i.e bar, long grafting spade etc). One thing i will say is, you DO run the risk of a ferret with a collar getting stuck. Johnnyboy68 and i off here did a big rubble pile at the end of the last season, and had a good day on it, but 2 ferrets got trapped by their collars on some metal, but luckily

    well most gun dogs will have champs in mine has but a field trial dog can come out ov eney litter id say as long as it is steady to game and stops when its asked i think its down to good training and strong bond to its hangler two working as one iv seen dogs work well that dont even have a pedigree ie sprockers so buy whot you whont and train it well I wouldn't buy a pup with no history, and i would want some good dogs in the line etc, but you have to remember that field trial dogs WERE NOT bred to do a full days beating etc, they were bred to work flat out, full steam, giving EVERYTHIN

    Maybe that's what you get for going about all the time saying shit like "poacher till i die, f**k the police, f**k the ban" etc, if you kept your buisness to yourself, sorted a bit of land, poached quiet like, got dogs in from pup, from decent litters, put in the time to raise and enter them etc, rather than wanting a straight out the tin, big bag taking, hardcore lurcher etc, and hoping you can throw money at folk to get it. . . . . . . . . then you may not have had these problems.

    I just want to say that teachers such as you've described are few and far between these days. I've had such a negative experience with my kids' primary school, I confess I feel rather jaded. Good teaching should be fully supported and encouraged - but instead bad teaching is protected and perpetuated. Red tape and ridiculous health and safety laws don't help either. And imo the holiday system is barking mad and needs to be revamped. There is NO reason at all for that amount of holidays.     One thing i always think about. . . . There are a lot of folk out there who want a pup from their dog, just because it's their dog, and it makes them happy, so they breed a full litter for just that one pup, when to be brutaly honest the dog ain't worth breeding off in any but their eyes. Now if you could have a litter of just one pup, i'd say crack on, but you cannot and the rest of them pups are out there and part of a gene pool, thats rapidly worsening.
