  1. There are a range of dried foods mate, i use James Well beloved, just cos thats what i tried first, also used Vitalin and Alpha, both good. Cheapest way is to order a 20 kg sack online, works out a lot lot cheaper. Shouldnt be too much of a problem changing food. You can also supplement with any meat, such as cheap chicken wings etc. I feed rabbit, but do so over night, chuck in one at night, remove skin and bones in morn. Aye tinned food would be pretty expensive ad its crap.
  2. First thing is, tinned dog food is not so good for ferrets. They are obligate carnivores and have very short digestive tracts. They need a high protein diet, where the protein is meat derived. Best thing you can feed them is a fresh meat, whole carcass diet. Or, a high quality dried FERRET food. And plenty of fresh water. Odd egg and bit of goat milk is an ok treat. Dog and cat food i wouldnt touch. Especially tinned.
  3. Agreed it would've been a better idea to get 2 jills and 1 hob but as for two hobs fighting at 5 months and needing seperate cages, not in my experience. mine started ragging / wrestling at 5 1/2 to 6 months and ones back was a right mess, i meant separate cages eventually not at that age, and i agree with Ideation, occasionally hobs can be housed together but its rare in my experience. I've only ever had 2 hobs once, they were kept together for a couple of years and then one day they started off play fighting, then got rougher and rougher and rougher until they were basically knoc

  5. Makes your dick bigger, and makes you seen a higher class of man when you list them in your under sig.
  6. Black dog would be my pick, strong and looks bright.
  7. Otom tick remover thing works wonders.
  8. Do these 'EU Polecats' come with pedigrees? Experts need DNA tests before they can verify whether a wild polecat is a genuine poley or feral ferret. Are people genuinely buying these animals at crazy prices without proof of what they're buying? ..and besides £30 - £70, what the f**k is the difference between these so called EU Polecats & our genuine native polecats that people have kept from time to time. A polecat is a fecking polecat in my eyes... E.U Polecat is what is spouted by folk who don't know that our Polecats ARE E.U Polecats, we are in europe after all. And like
  9. Hey mate, I would be really interested in knowing price, types of hunting available, etc etc etc, as i may be keen to come over sometime later in the year. . . . . . You can either answer on here or PM.
  10. Agreed it would've been a better idea to get 2 jills and 1 hob but as for two hobs fighting at 5 months and needing seperate cages, not in my experience. Maybe he likes working hobs. And aye i agree with you, i have two hobs here that are caged together all year around, and are fine apart from a bit of bullying in summer.
  11. It's mad, folk spend a lot of money and time, breeding a wild poley back down to the level of a decent ferret, rather than just doing some homework and getting a good ferret in the first place. Also most of them are just dark ferrets, i have a genuine FERRET here who is very dark, only light on his face, has a black nose, and is very muscular etc etc etc etc etc, perfect e.u poley, and i have his sandy brother. . . .
  12. Happy Birthday matey, hope you have a good one!
  13. To be fair, if you have ANY kind of social sensibilities, then you can tell the difference between someone poking a bit of fun at you, and someone who is genuinly being a dick. Seems as if folk on here have got real sensitive as RA says, and if you give anything other than a robo-response they toss their toys and go home. It's not like johnny boy said " your a f*****g pussy, if you are scared of losing your ferrets, you big poof, then give it up and get a new hobby, as you are obviously a fag" He called you a pansy and suggested you take up bowls, and i bet he had a smile on his fa
  14. Pups are going to be 3/4 grey 1/4 collie, bred from a 1st x collie grey put back to a racing hound. . . . . . . That's a pretty standard/traditional breeding for a hunting lurcher mate, i wouldn't worry.
  15. What ever you do, don't start a thread on a public internet forum about it just before you do. . . . . . . . or just after.
  16. Who the feck wants to see captive wolves / dogs being mauled by big birds for kicks? I get pleasure from a hunt, not shit being killed. Hunting's one thing, and this is another.
  17. I wasn't knocking you mate, i wondered if there was a practical reason like with tail docking, or if it is just aesthetic, she is a real stunner. Did it seem to bother her? No problem mate, one reason i think is, when going head to head with wild boar. the ears will keep bleeding. and when the ears are cropped the boar can nog get a hold of them. having floppy ears is a problem due to the veins the cross the ears and can be easily bit, sliced, clawed etc cheers That's what i was wondering mate, cos them boars have got nasty mouths on them, and floppy ears are proba
  18. yes mate carn,t wait 2 but him 2 the test this season I bet mate, bit special with a pup you bred.
  19. Some folk are a bit basic. Aye, shelters are terrible places. I wouldn't wish any dog there. But there are a lot of cun.ts in the world, and a lot of dogs etc do get abused. Do you not think it's a good thing that some of these dogs get taken in by shelters and end up rehomed, or even just living in a shelter not getting abused? It's like the RSPCA, i know, f*****g evil etc etc etc, and i hate them for a whole host of reasons as well, but when they are actually doing the job they were intended for, i.e taking an abused dog off some junkie, them i cannot knock them.
  20. Some of you folk need to get a f*****g grip.
  21. Don't be a fanny, it was batman.
  22. If its your own dog then yes.......... Aye, which is a fairly massive assumption that came out of cuckoo land. Taking your own dogs is fine. But saying it's ok to take a dog as long as you work it. . . . .wherever you take it from, Or that it being put down is better than being in a shelter that will rehome it. . . . . . Is a bit shit. its not a bit shit.........its alot shit.......theres some tits on this site mate Yes mate, absolute retards. Sometimes it's almost painful.
  23. Suck my balls. White is the new black. All you other mo fo's are just imitators.
