Well for some reason i decided to go in today and rag the Greenfinch nest.. i candled 3 of the 5 egg's a while back and they where infertile so i presumed the rest would be..which was not the case.. i looked in with my little mirror this morning and to my surprise they was one fat chick sat in the nest.. .. i did manage to get a ring on it but if i had left it another day it would not of went on..i can't wait to see what colour it turn's out as it's with my Lutino cock and Isobel hen..
I had a terrier several year's ago that would get the same problem from time to time.. the best method i found for clearing the infection up was to put half a spoonful of Potassium Permanganate crystal's in a jam jar and half fill it with warm water till the crystal's have dissolved.. i would then dip the infected foot into the jar for 1 minute 2 times per day and this would quickly clear the infection up..it worked for me so it might be worth a try..

I am in no way on earth having a go at you Scallywag.. i would be a fool to do that to any of the Lurcher link team..you's deserve all the help and praise you can get..
A dozen sound's a lot was the hen able to cover them all..when ever i stick anything under a average broodie it's usually 6 big egg's or 8 smaller egg's..
In theory it sound's good.. but from personal experience i have never seen it work..all's i have ever seen it do is cause the dog more grief and get blood everywhere.. ..but i suppose it all boil's down to what kind of damage the toe has recieved..
Unknown breeding Towzer i could put a number of dog's to his breeding but i would never be correct as i don't know,, the main thing is he kept his owner happy and died happy..
The weather is keeping me in for now but i will crack soon and get piss ringing wet regardless as them pooches need walking..anyway i'm bored too tear's so i have been messing about on the computor and i stumbled up on this place which nearly made me spew instantly.. how the fook could they let a perfect breed go to ruin..

What about something like this with some ducting and connector's to direct the air where you want it to blow..you could also double them up for hotter day's..

I had a dog's year's ago Skycat that had terrible feet.. it done 3 of it's toes like what has been mentioned over a several month period and after cutting the nail right of each and everytime made no difference at all..he was stuck with the swelling which ended his working carrier.. i know a lot of lurcher folk and greyhound men mention that method.. but i have never seen it work on my own dog or my mates dog's..
