Well done Northern Ireland you deserved to win good honest hard work with just a touch of patriotic passion, something Englands football team could do with a lesson in.The Welsh deserved more at the weekend aswell unlucky.
Find me funny or daft as you like,I dont know a lot but one thing I know to be 100% true is if you want workers go to working lines once bred for show the working traits are soon lost.
If your pound coin entrance is going to a good cause fair enough if not then you are just paying a pound for someone elses opinion of your dog for whatever thats worth.Yes the majority of shows are fixed either through pressure of seeing a famous name or through the old pals act.Personaly I wouldnt buy a terrier that had show lines in it for digging some will dissagree but I wouldnt, show dogs for shows workers for digging.Any reasonably bred lurcher will catch rabbits show or work bred if you want more than that a show bred dog isnt what you want, this is of course only my opinion.
Its not all been plain sailing missed 4 what could only be called sitters a few days ago but thats why there are so many foxes about I suppose lol.Yes Jordan the Black one is my new dog if you wanted a dog for bringing home beef he would be the dog for you :11: .I think he is only just 12 months old now.
The white and brindle dog goes from strengh to strengh Royston2s brindle bitch is a good freezer filler and the black dog is just learning .Lertting the dogs have a rag on the charlie the white brindle dog killed. The black dog believe it or not is a 3/4 reverse quite racy considering.
A bit of coat can hide a lot of sins true, but it wont alter the weight and JMO a lot of Borders are light weight which to me means less muscle also a bit of coat doesnt stop you running your hands over a dog.I am only talking about the Borders I have had and the working line I like cant speak for others experiances.
A bit short on working terriers for this season, but I would expect the type of patterdale I keep to start the season with a well muscled body yet lean the borders I like are totaly different and no matter how much exercise you give them the muscle will not develop to the extent of the pats the border when ready will start the season fit not overly muscled and of quite light frame.
It's all to do with Muscle and Oxygen intake ratio, along with heat production Kane. A whole different topic, but just because something is full of Muscle doesn't mean it can breathe effortlessly.

Anychance of a pic Ive never seen a muscle bound terrier of an earth going type.
The loss of a working dog has been experianced by a lot of us,but when you loose one as a young lad it feels a lot worse, well done for getting the young lad out and about in the 1st place Ian, hope he can replace his lost pal.
