If I had a dog that would only respond to a food reward I would start again,a bit of fuss is more than enough reward for most dogs food rewards should be last resort only,food rewards = lazy trainer JMO

Firstly good to see your still posting mik. Now dannycos,if your oldman worked dogs for forty years and chose salukis over Deerhoundxs then ask him why.You say he started out with Deerhounds and liked them very much yet he still changed to salukis.I would profit from his experiance and ask him some questions. If you want a dog for hunting lamping etc a Deerhoundx might be just the thing but dont get a dog just to be different make sure your getting one that gets the job done,Deerhound or otherwise.JMO

Generaly do a bit of hare coursing get some easy kills for the pups and a couple for the older dogs just to keep them up for it.

Softly does it [bANNED TEXT],start dragging him down the garden by the collar or putting a boot up the arse and the dog will always be a bit distrustfull of you at kenneling time.You will have to just gently coax him with either food or a bit of fuss.When the dogs in the kennel dont just piss off give him a couple of minutes of your time fussing and chatting to him after a few goes he shouldnt be to reluctant.JMO.

Advertise your pups at £350+ using your mobile number if they dont sell drop the price and use another phone number .I wouldnt worry about wether they go to working homes or not just think of the money

Ive given up on the public spirited side of life.I do my own thing and let others do theirs I think its the only way to survive.If I saw a policeman or policewoman being kicked to death I would do f**k all to help because thats about all the help i would get off them......................I might hang about and go through their pockets afterwards LOL LOL. Knew a bloke who would lamp them from his car and slip an English Bull terrier on them.

Also seen some good collie xs on fox (even 1 or 2 Hancocks),seen some good Bedlingtonxs.Also knew a bloke who had a German Shepherd that was good dog to have around terriers bushing foxes killing them if it caught one marking to ground and it used to love drawing.

Know of a bloke .Who has a smashing Saluki bitch (90% saluki anyway).The most foxes Ive seen her take in a single night was 6 she has a bit of trouble killing them so she is generaly ran doubled up (a good bitch to enter a pup with for obvious reasons)She will kill them but can take a little longer than is fair.She has taken quite a lot of punishment in her time but she doesnt even show a sign of chucking the towel in.IMHO like most game dogs her temperament is excellent.

His sire is a 3/8 5/8 and his Dam is a second generation bred by Turk out of Turks Punch.The pup is 25inch at the shoulder,he still has a bit of growing to do.Yes he is the pup that I advertised for sale last month.

A [bANNED TEXT] popped down for a quick lamp (a while ago ) so I took the oppurtunity to give my Bullx pup some experiance on one of his main future targets.The pup has done very well up to date catching one rabbit(in cover with terriers) he has also been introduced to fox with my 1stxBull and realy seems to enjoy the rag up and has shown a lot of agression on the 3 foxes he has seen.Any way we took him to spot that I have always thought would be a good place to get a pup started,my m8s experianced deer dog did all the running and tripped the roe with my pup only a second or 2 behind and he s

Had a few phone calls tonight from lads that know I go on the computer and the forums. These are honest lads one of them told me not to go on here anymore as there are a lot of lies being circulated about me selling a pregnant bitch to an unknowing person (bull shit but who realy cares not me anyway lol).
