  1. Yes I agree, but people have very good opions on there, do they know what it wa like to live in SA, did they used to hear about how people were treated during the apartheid years. It is very easy to form opinions with one side of the story. How many South Africans are not upset about his death? I have no idea, and quite frankly don't care! the fact remains that it shows the peversity of the world we live in when a man who has commited henious crimes, can rise to superstar status, and be fawned on by people worldwide, who I strongly suspect, a lot of have no idea about his past, and every
  2. I think you miss my point, I am not saying dont have it on the news for 5 mins, or a small mention in a newspaper, but I will reiterate, the man was not a saint, or a demonstrable figure of world peace,he was a murderer, be that by his own hand or by his direction to others, you cannot deny that! so it makes me sick, as it clearly does to others, that he is being remembered by every person that wants a bit of limelight, as a jolly old stick, who fought against the oppression of the evil whites. I wonder how many IRA terrorists will be lauded in similar fashion in years to come? Or perhaps the
  3. Well it may be but perhaps they could keep the "dreadfull" news in south Africa, this is England, so what the f-ck has it got to do with us? Its not South Africa's choice to have there news in the UK. If you dont like it dont read it, and clearly you have a interest if you been reading this. Yes I have got an interest, on the one hand I am interested in why the death of an old warmongering terrorist, should be splashed across every newspaper and on every channel on tv, with our limp wristed weak as sh-te politicians are pronouncing his sainthood, and on the other hand because I ha

  5. Obviously, you see they were probably white English people, the kind that dont matter any more, and are slowly being replaced by third world, interlopers, but when some old man dies of old age,at the other side of the world,it is not mentioned that he was a terrorist, and the fact that amnesty international would never accept him onto their books (so to speak) for his refusal to denounce acts of terrorism, oh no, he is merely seen as an old anti apartheid warrior, an avuncular old chap, spreading his love to oppressed peoples of the world, a figure of black resistance,to the evil white race, t
  6. Exactly mate,I promise you old charlie wont know he is any less dead if you whack him with a 50 grainer, or some 75grain projectile, just find a good expanding bullet that it likes and stick with it,if you are going to reload, Sierra do some fantastic .224 bullets, and if you decide and want some help reloading I am only just down the road
  7. Yes along with Binladen and co.
  8. I think he already said he would never consider firing into trees/bushes? The load you are using is a heavy load, no wonder your back hurts, that is a wildfowling load, and out of a game gun its going to kick, try some 30 gm 6s mate, they will kill just as well, and you will think you are firing a .410 in comparison, but a semi auto, especially a gas operated one will have hardly any perceived recoil at all.
  9. No doubt the families of the people whos deaths he sanctioned will feel inspired too.
  10. Well I am not watching any mainstreem tv for the next week, I dont want to listen to the BBC wa--ers spouting about what a great leader an a fu--in saint he was,no doubt the lefty liberals will all be out wearing their free NM badges for effect, makes me sick, the man was nothing more than a murderer, I bet the BBC wont be paying as much attention to the meltdown and genocide that is going to happen now he has gone will they?
  11. Yet another example of a terrorist gaining a position of power and wealth, like Jerry Adams,Martin mc Guinness, ect, good riddance.
  12. Cant really see the point in the fast twist rate, its a .223 you are going to be shooting foxes, and possibly roe/Muntjac/Chinese water deer, a good 50-55 grain bullet will do all you need and more, if you need bigger, buy a .243, or a .25-06.
  13. Yes the dick was asking for more land, that topic has now been locked, I cant add a great deal to what has been said really, but a good punch in the face would do pricks like this a world of good, they are not hunters they are cruel wankers,I hope they get banned from here they are not welcome. And to the antis that watch this site, not that I care what you think, but we are all speaking our minds about this, not because as you will no doubt say, they are only annoyed because it puts fieldsports in a bad light, but out of genuine concern, you see us as true hunters despise cruelty, and try to m
  14. And I have got a nice low mileage 02 plate, 2 lady owners from new, that I would not part with for a penny less than £2000.
  15. Correct, so when Weatherby for instance, guarantee MOA accuracy from their rifles, they are saying as a minimum it will shoot a 1" group @ 100 yards.
  16. Hello if anyone has a .22 sound moderator knocking about that they wish to sell, please let me know, a Parker hale or a sak, something like that would be fine, I am in south yorks, obviously would have to be face to face as rfd is not cost effective on a cheap rimmy moderator, cheers Charlie.
  17. It is not, under normal shooting, but on the foreshore, where shots tend to be taken at longer range, a heavier load will be beneficial.
  18. Well thats the yank philosophy, Les, in that in order to get more hitting power from lighter steel, it must be driven mega quick, the higher the velocity the higher the striking energy, but as you have indicated, maybe these super quick steel loads are going right through, so unless you hit a vital organ, the energy is not transferred, as it would be with heavier softer shot, I must say that every duck/goose I have shot with heavy-shot, has come down like a lead baloon, but I am with you on the lead mate, bring it back, I have a couple of boxes of 50gram no 3s knocking about, reserved for foxe
  19. A few years back, having been out all afternoon without seeing any deer, on the way back, I was absolutely busting for a crap, and as this was the first time I had stalked with this particular chap, I did not feel like a visit into the bracken to answer the call of nature was entirely appropriate, prefering to wait until we get back, then of course disaster strikes, he spies a roebuck following a doe across the stubble, by this time I am platting my legs and praying he would not be a shootable buck, but oh no, I am politely asked to take the shot, a textbook shot broadside on @ about 130yards,
  20. Yes 30g is too light for duck on the foreshore, ok over a flight pond maybe, I use gamebore 3" magnum steel and they are pretty good, I wish we could get some of the yank stuff over here, Remington do a waterfowling steel 3" shell pushing the shot at well over 1700fps, and according to the reports I have read is absolutely deadly on geese.
  21. Lets just hope Landrover dont start making one, its bound to blow up
  22. Have you read about the TMX though? They reckon they are as near to lead as its going to get and better and cheaper than tungsten matrix. Well lets hope they start to produce a load bigger than 32 gram 5s then, as Gamebore website suggests thats all they do currently.
  23. Are they the Eley's Les? I would have thought they would hit em with a hell of a whack, going that fast, I have seen some of the home loaded super fast steel kill geese at a hell of a range on the Ouse washes, how much are they a box then Les?
  24. If I could afford it lol, heavy shot would be my choice, all the time, as you know mate I like tungsten too, I want to try some of the new Eley lightning steel, over 1600fps but have not seen any around yet.
