  1. Looks ok that, sometimes the lighter cammo patterns break up your outline better than the dark ones, I am betting if you stand that up in the woods and walk 50 yards away it will be very hard to see.
  2. That will be because it is not set up for subs mate, not sure about the 581 but the 511 has a model called the subsonic which is designed to shoot subs only, you can order a standard spec spring from the states if you wish to shoot hv, and apparently if you replace the heavy 511 trigger spring with a ruger 10/22 one it lightens the trigger up nicely.
  3. Lower middle class tossers who think we have actually been enriched by multiculturalism, people who say safe haven, fat birds in skin tight leggings, and blokes who stand in the pub holding their pint against their chest with a cocked wrist.
  4. Are you not going to offer him some running on one of your extensive land holdings in the north east, your Lairdship?
  5. Speak to laird Rake Aboot he owns most of the land round the Selby area
  6. Personally I would have rung them first, and asked about an open ticket, but you will have to wait and see now, leave it a bit then ring and see what they say.
  7. It is not a quick fix coming on here, making one post then asking permission, there are no farmers on here looking for vermin shooters, get off your arse and find your own.
  8. Well you are in luck pal, usually laird Rake gives newbies permission on his extensive land holdings, however he does not own any land in the Dorking area, but I do, you have permission for most of Dorking, except windy bottom farm I cant let you on there pal, as we have a game shoot on there, by the way do you shoot deer? I could do with some help with the Muntjac, anyway crack on and if challenged, tell em Charlie said you were fine
  9. It will mate, I must remember to order the pressure switch for mine, will make life a bit easier.
  10. I reckon that mine with the red led, is brighter than my million cp shooterlight with the red filter on, I have no problem making out the fox, not just his eyes through the scope at 200 yards, it is my first choice to put on the .243 for foxing, if I dont expect to be shooting further, and lets face it most foxes are shot at 60-150 yards, I read somewhere the blue led is very good for shooting in the snow, but dont have the blue one, but the green is good too.
  11. What 16 year old would not want to bash the granny out of that? I would thats fore sure.
  12. I will second that seeker me old mucker, and if you want to try coastal wildfowling, then I am sure we could take you out on our marsh one day, you will have to be a BASC member though pal (if you are not already)
  13. Longer range foxing calibres don't come better than a .243, what is this dedicated nonsense, are you suggesting you want to buy a 223 or 22-250 SOLELY for foxes. The 243 will do it all, better than either of these, and if you are looking at close foxes then a rimfire or shotgun will suffice. Spot on you will not find a better foxing calibre than your .243 pal, it will, as has been said do it all, .22-250 is a fantastic calibre, but bif you get .243 you dont need it, use 80gn bullets and you can smack foxes and drop deer with the same rounds, as I do, 80gn Sierra blitz under 45grns of
  14. Dress smart, no cammo, and get door knocking, best of luck lad.
  15. Just because he would not let you have more than a couple of days on the driven grouse this year, you go and slag him off, disgraceful, the man has to make his estates pay you know! He cant go giving all his shooting away, can he?
  16. Just to point out to the OP and anyone else taking up these most generous offers from members on here,YOU MUST ALWAYS CHECK WITH THE LANDOWNER BEFORE ENTERING ANY LAND WITH A FIREARM, even if some kind sole on here has given you verbal permission, you know lads just in case
  17. Easy being the big man behind a computer screen eh? I would like to meet some of these spinless c-nts face to face one day, then we will see who is laughing
  18. A guy I know has one of the tricked up RM 10/22s with the carbon fibre barrel, and re-worked action and trigger, in a nice custom stock, I have never shot it but he assures me it is worth every penny of the £900 he spent on it, it performs flawlesly and will group one holers at 50 yards, so they must be doing something right.
  19. Nice quick way to get a H&C pointed at your head I would think.
  20. Brilliant bit of kit these, I have got the red and green led, with the red one you can stretch the range to 200 easy on foxes.
  21. I know that Rake aboot, or Laird Rake as we call him is very busy at the moment, but I am sure he will be more than happy to advise you where to go, I will contact him and see what he has available.
  22. Wheres that then Andy, is it in Browns? Or Hardys?
  23. Have a drool at some of the tricked up things rimfire magic in south yorks do mate, carbon fibre barrels and the works, they are awesome things, not cheap but if you want the ultimate semi auto!
