  2. You talking bout those larsen mate traps Red? Think I saw a youtube video, of a homemade one. Pretty simple to make.
  3. Strangest I've seen was a hooded crow with a gray head and wings, and a black body. Really stood out being almost th e opposite of the norm. No gun or I would a bagged him.
  4. Have you tried this one bunnyboiler?
  5. Hmmm, I have seen video's on YouTube where fox's and coyotes have stepped around and backed out of snares. The evidence of this was their footsteps in the snow. The old canines are a clever animal. Some obviously more clever than others.
  6. Eh, do 99% of the population not carry phones these days. And 99% of those phones will have cameras on them.
  7. With most trail cams, once you set it up, you simply turn it off and turn it on. Once you turn it on, the lights start to flash, and that tells you it's up and working. Don't overcomplicate things.
  8. I think me old buddy Ditch knows a bit about this Danny fella
  9. nothing wrong with that comanche. Great job!?By the way, you can get those sowing kits with propper needles and threads on ebay.
  10. Couple a nice rabbits micky. You'd get a decent camera phone for 100 bucks. Good camera on most phones these days. Maybe throw a hint for your birthday
  11. I'll let you test that one out!lol
  12. Always plenty of activity around water. Watch out for flooding though. Nearly had a submerged camera this time last year lol
  13. Their good fun alright. Must get my one set again. Tempted to get one of these. Cheap, and certainly do the job!
  14. Heard of lots of things that draw in animals. Like Cheelse sauce, (Trapper on youtube uses it to catch coyote) banana, (Meant to be a deadly mink lure) and of course horse hoof, (fox attractant)
  15. The thing is, it ain't really all that long ago, is it! Yet things have changed so much in that time. And none for the better, may I add.

  17. Just asked my mate there, and this is what he emailed back "George Young, the last remaining active son, died in 1992. " S. Young & Sons " went with him. He'd long since given up on the catalogues. Knocked out little price list books instead. And, by the late eighties, even that had become more of a pamphlet."
  18. Another really interesting read from my mates online collection of pest control ephemera. http://pest-contol-papers.boards.net/thread/116/1963-4
  19. I'm sure I seen some video's on YouTube with trailcam footage where other baits were being tested in uk. Might be wrong though.
  20. I hear nothing only bad reviews about them. Yea they work well in the Australian outback, because their ain't a ready available food source. But in and around your avearage farm yard, or chicken run, I don't think it would be as appealing.
