  1. I heard a cracker from a few years back about two coppers sitting in their patrol car in a lay-by in the dark on a country road when they heard a huge roar and the speed gun installed behind the windscreen showed a speed of 180mph! Trouble was the cops never seen anything! After a search they caught two RAF pilots in a Porsche 911 wearing night vision goggles. Thought it was pretty funny myself cheers Callum
  2. Just out of interest mate since l do live on a Scottish island, which island was it? cheers Callum
  3. I tried to add a helpful bit of advice, perhaps a little more diplomatically than you. However after you posted your advice he seems to have locked the comments, so I had to PM it directly to him suggesting he might consider deleting the video which only goes to show the following is true: It is better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt! He probably though he was being cool, but how cool would he have felt if the LOADED rile had fallen off the worktop, discharged and killed one of his family! Frankly as much as I am against
  4. I use this one http://www.jumpflick.com/ cheers Callum

  7. Hi Aaron Just out of interest what is a LEO. Is this your star sign or is it the initials of your job? We have FEO's as in Firearms Enquiry Officers so I'm guessing its something along them lines, just couldn't quite figure out what the L stood for. cheers Callum

  10. Hey Clint what powder do you use, I'm guessing by the price that you stated for your powder that you use Vihtavuori. I ordered some from my RFD last week and realised last night that it would cost me about £65! Don't think I'll be buying more at that price when most other powders are around the £40 mark. cheers Callum
  11. For the last month I have been trying to sell my old air rifle. I have now up to date had to put my advert up four times on a notice board at my local crofters shop as some politically correct keeps on (well in my view) tearing it down. The reason I think that its a politically correct is cos nobody has phoned me back in response to the ad. I know that it hasn't just fallen from the notice board as I push the tac into hard wood and it takes me about a minute to prise it back out to put another ad up. The last ad I put up was last Tuesday and I even went to the hassle of getting it lamina
  12. Defo see what you are saying and it is not just in the hunting fraternity. I know of a few people exactly like them and try to steer well away from them. Two of my favourite past times are surfing the world wide web to enhance my knowledge in different subjects that interest me and listening to the stories of the old and wise as once their gone they take all their wisdom with them... cheers Callum
  13. Do you mean that you have a virus that you want rid off or that you want to uninstall an anti virus software from your computer? cheers Callum

Once it has been opened copy this bit minus the (), (image-of-the-day-151/) to the end of the Url or address bar of the new tab mindful not to leave spaces. cheers Callum

  19. What rifle and ammunition are you using? Hi there the gun is a Winchester model 63 .22 rf and the ammo I am using is Federal Game Shock Hollow Points as per the recommendation of my RFD. It hasn't always been as bad as last week so I cleaned the gun the other night and am hoping to get out tonight to test if there is any difference. cheers Callum
  20. cheers for the replies guys was thinking of burying them in the ground as well but my only worries would be if sometime in the future someone with a metal detector could find them and dig them up. I was also told I could put them into a heavy container and throw them overboard into the sea whilst sea fishing on a boat which is as far as l know the norm from what l hear round my area. cheers Callum
  21. Had 7 in the last week out of about 100 shots. For the most part though its that the bullets aren't loading correctly into my semi auto and are sticking out of the ejector side on. If l don't notice and pull the trigger the hammer buckles the cartridges side so that it is unusable. Cleaned my gun last night so hopefully problem solved but l was just thinking in general what would be the course of action to take? cheers Callum
  22. I used to use Firefox as well. It was the mutts nuts when I first started using it about five years ago when it was a watered down internet browser but l recently moved over to Google Chrome and l must say its way faster at loading up web pages. Firefox has now become so full of options, settings, third party add-ons etc. that it has slowed down immensely from when l first started using it.
  23. Sometimes whilst firing my rimmy I get the odd misfire. At the moment I collect them in an empty bullet box but once that's full I haven't the scoobiest idea on how dispose of them. How do you guy go about it? cheers Callum
  24. I have followed the instruction on this page http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/buy/contact-member.html under the Request a member’s contact information header when a seller didn't look as if he was going to honour a purchase l had made. Needless to say when once I received the sellers phone number from his contact information which is mandatory during the initial sign up I phoned him and he practically bent over backwards to get me off his back and I received the package two days later. cheers Callum
