  1. Def the belstone fox, watched it again last week, it's been a long summer, lol
  2. was thinking the same some people its all about numbers i just into enjoying the we dogs work and if they catch its a bonus lol In fairness it's not about numbers for me, far from it, I was just blessed like some others with a lot of ground with a lot of bunnies..I still did the ground that you'd walk field after field and only see 3 or 4.. After moving Iv now got Very little in the way of rabbity ground unless I want a 2hr trip back north for a night or two or ten lol
  3. The thing is people who haven't seen a heavily populated area of rabbits just don't understand the numbers you can take in a night or year, I think they would pass out at the first gate if I took them to ground iv ran with the dogs, feck me we've done over a ton with bull x's in about 3 hours, yes a fair few squatters amongst them but when there's that number of rabbits in a field you can't just go and kick it up so you can have a decent run, it just don't work like that no matter how much you would want it.. You none believers of number possibilitys stick to your 6 bunnies seen per night, I
  4. Clean spade. I never had you down as someone that robs farm sheds, lol. Very nice nige, as usual
  5. you cant compare a bit of vermin control on foxs an running hares out of season ,,iv shot a few problem foxs an dug one this week the topic in the terrier section an passed a few phone calls on to other lads to sort a few out which resulted in them getting a couple 1000 acres of land to control vermin There's a big difference between vermin control upon request at this time of year & what those idiots are doing, they couldn't give a monkeys bollock about wether there killing problem or non problem foxes, it's all just a numbers game to crettins like that, they've got to get out and ki
  6. Lol, you been 7 up in Blackpool yet????
  7. Hahaha brilliant, some folk are born dirty minks, didn't notice, lol
  8. Fox.. If it was a human he didn't do a very good job if there was blood, lol
  9. Don't give any Mectin based treatments to anything with border collie in it or the chances are you'll end up with a dead dog
  10. nah.........i can see it being a bit of an anti climax......both are good dogs but for different things but maybe they'll have a gid laugh and some sport I think your probably right there..
  11. Fair play, as the saying goes, if u want a argument, post your opinion on the Internet & wait, lol
  12. What's his thoughts on summer digging? Can't believe you struggle to find foxes if your a personal friend of his, he's got permission coming out his ears surely??
  13. With a attitude like yours there's no fecking wonder they don't want to mix with you!! Nobody's asking you to go begging for permission are they?!? You stated that most keepers on those estates, ie grouse estates, dispise lurcher boys, I was mearly pointing out that the vast majority of them are infact lurcher & terrier boys themselves so how u come that opinion I don't know..
  14. well said Well your wrong I'm afraid, I don't know a hill keeper now that doesn't keep lurchers & terriers(bar the odd head keeper from the old school) and I know a fair few.. If folk would get out & give them a hand beating etc then the chances are you would get out for a spin or two with your dogs on there land, rather than moaning that they kick off when they catch you just helping yourself.
  15. Just like no proper terrierman digs summer time foxes...
  16. & ?? Oh I get it now, a Englishman with the name Campbell stole your mrs? Lol
  17. Lets be honest in most grouse beating lines there's quite a few that can lets say, handle themselves well, take the line out onto the most remote part of the beat and give the fuckers hell, it would take the law hours to hike out, plenty time to dispose of cameras, clothing, shoes & the odd body in the peat hags.. IMO they hide there faces because there gut less, plain & simple but hey for most of them it's £40 and a few stale sarnies for lunch, there not bothered about the correctness of game shooting..
  18. Hopefully they might get one, lol, 8 days and still nothing!!!
  19. So by reading into "desperate" I'm guessing you've been trying for some weeks?? How about just waiting till there a bit bigger, bit stronger & a bit wiser instead of f*****g around trying to dig foxes in the summer, ffs !!! Edited to add... I hope you find f**k all u don't deserve it :-)
  20. Well if you want the truth, folk, like me are sick to the back teeth of threads like this, they've been done done and fecking done again & I'm guessing there's more than enough photos of his dogs in his books to fill anyone's boots..
  21. If you left a dog in that state, who can't choose, you'd be locked up, yet another show of how stupid the uk can be for such a modern country, shame on them..
  22. Remi & hawkeye have got it right, fecking time consuming pulling it in the hunts paddocks, I think you get annual, biannual & triannual strains so at best it will take 3 years of pulling & burning to get ontop of.
  23. Kia ora bro, or I think it's something like that?? Just had friends from the rotarua harriers over staying for a week. Step dad is a kiwi native
