I thought the same about the ortovox collar at first but then thought if the dogs neck and collar cant get up a tube the dogs body wouldn't stand a chance of getting through. This one here has been very well used with no problems at all. At the end of the day every locater on the market will find your dog. Your right enough jessdale, I was kindly given it to use as a spare on busy days so wasnt going to turn it down, had a play about with both collars this morning & both gave the same readings off the b&f box..

I can't knock the b&f box or collar, heard folk say they ain't that accurate but iv never done anything but open up bang on where you should.. Just got a ortovox (I think) collar as a spare, all I can say is I'm glad it's a spare, it's as big as something I'd put round the neck of a lurcher, having said that I did say that about the b&f when they first came out and not had a problem with it.

Just a word of warning a fowler had his lab attacked during a retrieve by a seal at Newburgh north of Aberdeen, the dog was put down due to its massive injurys.. Very rare but worth a second thought next time your out and see them bobbing about.

Nothing to stop you having the shirt and tie underneath. Atb no there aint but it the tie wont stop on long when im digging!!! and the shirt will end up very muddy Just tuck your tie into your shirt, roll your sleeves up, job done, any other mud well it's just part & parcel of digging holes in the ground lol, better that way than sweating your bollocks off in waterproofs. Lol, There's a important 4 letter word and a important "s" you missed in my post . I was pointing out with the right numbers of rabbits on the ground then a ton is possible for a fit/decent dog over a full night..
