  1. thought about this last year after getting asked if i could supply rabbits (live) for export to a certain country for falconry my plan was along the lines of "farming" inside in cages semi open runs etc things really did start to get serious "this time next year we will all be millionares rodders" but, the guy involved pulled out because of import/export restrictions or something off thread a bit ... i think fibonaci based his number theory on a pair of breeding rabbits ? anyone cheers anton

  7. got my one of my lurchers of someone who used be on here brill dog just a little too eager, would overshoot started to get a hard mouth always wondered why untill i realised he had been slipped with another dog (in fact, as i found out later, it was his sister talk about sibling rivalry) has taken a while for him to realise that it is all for him now if you know what i mean, no competition with another dog. although saying that i used to know a bloke that ran a pair good team as well woz .... i know where your coming from LOL had a similar experience myself thats why i go out alone now too

I've just put up a post on the general section as i am thinking about offering a repair service for mk 1's have a read and tell me what you think cheers anton i think you will struggle to do some of the repairs on the mk1's?? the reason deban have stopped is that one of the chips that was used in the mk1 is now obsolete.it was spesific to the mk1 receaver....there are no plans to do another production run of the chip..correct me if im wrong,,im no expert on the subject chaps???? another prob that i have is that de**n scrub off the numbers on the ic'

  12. no worry's mate i had the same bill (£800) quid when my lurcher broke it's neck expensive old game the vets also know what you mean about emergency costs ... £96 quid just to have a look let alone do anything licence to print money for some cheers anton
  13. hi comanche, i've been looking into servicing and repairing mk 1 collars and boxes i've put a thread on the general posts about this and been suprised by the responce yes you are right they are sealed but, hold only a crystal oscilator and poss a small amp but, unlikely i can open them up and reseal them best bet is going in where the collar is sealed in at the top anybody got any old u/s collars for me to try ? if i fix them bonus, if not well, the thing were buggered

  16. Hi all, Been thinking about this for about the last month since my season ended.... My day job is p.c. component level repair in other words i repair computer boards soldering chips etc. in a full blown repair workshop and not some backstreet shed I gather that nobody really does repairs on ferret finders apart from the manufacturer and then you have to pay a charge of around 50 squid ? well...... put two and two together .... i have already repaired two or three mk1's for mates etc with pretty cheap results So, i was w

  19. very lucky, my lurcher ran into a tree a while back and broke his neck it was only the vet who took his time with him that saved him been out of action for a couple of months now and just starting to get into the swing of things again posted a topic on it a while back as i said very lucky

Well pointed out, i've been following this thread very interesting some of the reply's no law as such against trespass but, they will have you for either aggravated trespass (this is when you are asked to leave the land by the land owner or an appointed person and you argue against it. the best method is say nothing and go. you are not required by law to give any details i.e. name etc) or as you so quite rightly pointed out damage through trespass mind you i thought most of the "poacher/lamping" types on here would have known that already
