  1. Sportdog are a good make mate .. Collars have noise and vibrate settings.. Torture method - bit dramatic Fox dropper .. These collars can be a useful training aid - there not designed and promoted to physically and psychologically injure dogs.. I'd advice not to buy cheap ebay one.. I did and was total waste of money.. Ineffective if your on moorland woodland they wont have the range. Not waterproof and rechargeable. Some companies to buy and sell back - also sell ex demonstrators/returned models . I have had a Sportdog for about 5 years.
  2. Desert Bred - Not trying to be insulting old old are you chap ?? Was you kicking about in them days or just clued up ?? Genuine question mate.. Think Phil Lloyd had some right old pictures of collie types - on forums few years back on similar topic.. Them ones Burrel breeds don't even seem to throw a type..
  3. Any picture mate ?? Sounds like a decent bitch..
  4. They are fair game mate in season of course..
  5. Sporting rights and pest control are two separate things... Had something a bit similar - but it went in my favor. Its a conflict of interest - can see why they get upset with finical interests.. These feckers by me dont even put there own birds down, they just rob them of neighboring estate . Violence - threats and guns should not be in the same sentence. Folk will loose there tickets
  6. I would rather take a wild punt on gumtree or even go to Hancock, if its a straight collie cross your after.. Feck that crazy old bam..
  7. That Burells a crack pot ... The current fashion for crossing Pit Bulls, Salukies and Greyhounds often disguised under a Deerhound's or Bedlington's coats to make them more saleable are definitely not of the same controllable nature …………… Woe betides anyone foolish enough to release one of those beasts into a rearing pen of pheasants. Sure it will kill the fox , but only after doing the fox's job for him first. Basically you have, the aggression of the Bull combined with the indifference to training of the Salukie added to the light-trigger of the Greyhound, with nothing but broken gl
  8. Good stuff Andy.. Weathers bit wild for me Happy New year
  9. looks well mate.. Did you have to part with a few dogs ?? Touch wood never had problems with dogs barking - old bitch started howling when i went out with young dogs.. Sorted it with anti bark muzzle.. Best bit of the season now - the gears flying

  17. If they're not sitting with a red you have less luck with the amber.. I have Red, Amber and Green Red and Green would be first choices.. If you have no filter ambers better than none - ambers still quite bright bright.. I taped mine up which helped for rabbits - reduced the distance and glare of beam..
  18. One of my pals had a dog wolf x pure grey.. Was blistering fast and had a first time killer strike.. Lacked wind for big runs - good in small fields and deadly on lamp.. Dog will be 9 ish or more now.. Was a handy dog and could catch a fair bag of rabbits.
  19. Watch it don't burn your house down mate.. Sounds bit dodgy..
