  1. Jonesy if skin so soft is shite that's probably why it atracted the flys anyway thanks for the replies no D.I.Y remedys, herbel or the like To really keep them away effectively all you need is a feck load of spray-deodorant and a lighter.
  2. What's wrong with CCleaner?? By the way, you do realise you can manually delete your history, don't you? Just click on the "History" tab (top left-ish), scroll down and then click on "Show All History", then you can select and delete different pages in your history at your own discretion but leave all the THL pages so it looks like you haven't deleted anything.
  3. If it is a private sale, and yes, fully wrapped up, I do believe that it should be fine. However I don't know anything about the Orkney isles' laws (if they're different to England's that is). And assasin8or, they should be okay with posting if it goes through a courier. But don't you have a gunshop that is close enough to not need posting...? That said, if you want it from a further shop because it's cheaper, postage is ordinarily about £10-15. Atvb.
  4. I'll explain it as fully as I can: A law was implemented a few years ago to help crack down on gun violence: that you couldn't commercially post air guns (as in shops). In my opinion it is a good idea. However some gunshops can send you an airgun but not by Royal Mail and the like but by a licensed courier. But private sales (one individual to another) the posting of air guns is permitted because that cuts out the mass market and also the ability to google "air rifle", pay thirty pounds for a cheap chinese rifle via credit card (instant transaction, no hastle, no wait) and have something w
  5. It's perfectly legal. Just make sure it's insured: the amount of things that get lost (or, indeed, "lost") in the post ... And it's okay to send by Royal Mail, no specially licensed couriers needed.
  6. When you click "go hunting" you should be able to change the graphics. Just turn everything to low (or off, i.e. shadows) and it should run. I'm assuming you looked at the minimum requirements...?
  7. I've seen one. Just one. But one nonetheless.
  8. Worked for me i would run too if i had shit splashed on my face Raiderboy Especially if it was your own shit Once again Stealthy, a great write up .
  9. "how do you keep them from eating you"? By eating them first. Sorry, couldn't resist.
  10. I shoot in my garden, my neighbour doesn't mind, and my local club is open one evening a week and I have no permission. What else am I supposed to do aside from poach (which, with an air rifle, I am not prepared to do).
  11. 'Cause you got the graphics turned up too high.
  12. yes 65 pound for a 10 meter sq lol ,if u find a cheap campsite close by the fair lets us no pal Yeah, let us know, otherwise I'll be off camping with a hammock in a fallow field for the night
  13. A working adult? An unbroken one year old? A twelve week old pup? Depends if you're confident training one, if you're able to bring a pup up ... P'raps have a look at the for sale section.

Bloody hell, the guy even said "please paste the link below into your toolbar." What a numnut! It's called a url/url bar/ address bar. I like nitpicking.
  16. Or falconers, or local zoos or animal type places, or pubs, or friends (including for their dogs, ferrets, etc). Being able to skin and gut a rabbit is a good skill to have. By the way, something is just nagging me: ... by "throw away" you do mean leave in the field for something to come along and snaffle it and not "throw away" as in a bit destined for the land fill, right?
  17. Yet another good read But I have noticed that you've forgotten how to use the TEXT SIZES. Couldn't resist mentioning it
  18. He's talking about catapults (/sling shots) not crossbows... Anyway, I do believe all powered crossbows are legal (there's a lack of laws regarding crossbows ... at least compared to air rifles) and the only law that I know of is that you HAVE to be over 18 to buy, own, hire (and maybe use) a crossbow.
  19. A pic, a rough estimate on how far the light travels but is still okay for use with the naked eye (as in can seen the outline of a rabbit (not for huunting purposes but to see what the power would be at hunting ranges)), oh and if a battery would be easily found. Also...is it a gun mounted lamp, if so do the ounts come with?
  20. You guys realise that she might be homosexual and therefore not interested in you... To the binoculars!!
  21. Well ... yes, but no large, official shows (esp. ones with large prize money, hehe)
  22. I've grown up in a family that does none of this sort of stuff: and I'm trying to get into it. But I was wondering if there are any upcoming fairs or suchlike, also this includes shooting related things. I'm thinking relatively locally because I doubt I can get my parents to drive me particualrly far and a seemlingly large amount of places don't have local train stations: so Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckingham shire, please. Although, really large, renown things that are worth travelling for are good too. Thanks.
  23. Hi and welcome...but can I just refer you to a thread: >>clicky<< Text Talking
