  1. Ah, sorry, I must've missed the part where he said they were ir. Still, it's a nice idea but a bit unpractical, in my opinion, anyway.
  2. I don't know much about the legal side of things, but if you set fair prices, then get done out of £850... f**k, £850 is a heck of a lot especially if it's not all for time (labour) but also for the supplies. I would push for it all, try to get a lawyer to give them some good ol' shock treatment, or whatever, but you kind of have to try something. Anyway, good luck.
  3. Nope. But, yes it probably is human instinct to be scared of a black widow or an adult tarantula but it's the people who get scared (as in not wanting to be in the same room) of the little ones, or the ones that have small bodies just long, thin legs ... both of which are, instinctively AND knowledgeably, harmless to anyone but a fly. Yet some people get so worked up. Unconceivable, in my opinion anyway.
  4. Well done (both in finding him, giving him the boot, and getting the police his gun :D)!!
  5. Looks like you could do the same with a torch, a normal camcorder and some duct tape. Or am I just being boring?
  6. No, not at all, thank you: I don't know how to use photoshop but I am a master at GIMP...which, in my opinion, is just like a brilliant version of MS Paint, hehe. Or at least, that's how I use it . I think I'll go watch some photoshop tuts...
  7. Around here we find that ragwort is the biggest (and most annoying) pest plant, but it is the only plant that a species of moth caterpillar grow up on, so it's not all bad: but it can really dominate a field, and take over a fallow field.
  8. Oops, missed one: It's on the same walk, but I fiddled with the settings on the camera: thats why it looks so much darker
  9. I didn't post on it because I only saw it after those people started being total but I seriously take offence at your comment martin. Anyone being rude, oh it must be kids, teenagers, the like! Either out vandalising, drinking, smoking or just generally trying to bring down society, but when they get tired they go onto the internet to be t***s to people wo don't live near by. Maybe you grew up in a different time, different place, but as far as I know adults also get drunk, get into fights, vandalise, smoke and be total . So why labels t***s as non adults, why not just label them total f
  10. Unless someone vouches for it, I'm not going to believe it the big pictures: how can they get the dogs to get the sheep to do such detail (like the ears of the big sheep etc) but I don't know much about herding so, yeah ... still funny though Edit: Yah...there isn't really an excuse for the stupidity that had me in it's grasp durinh 7:56 pm on the 27th of August 2009. Never again, never again. :D
  11. Ah, okay, that's a pretty definite answer then, cheers, mate.
  12. So my insurance arrived yesterday, all is good but I was just wondering, how do you, personally, say that you're insured with BASC? Like do you say it B..A..S..C, or 'Bask' if you understand what I mean Odd question I know, but I'm interested
  13. Yep :D Cheers, yeah, that one is one of my favourite (after the tree-tunnel one, but you have to have a close inspection of it before you realise just how awesome it it).
  14. Bebo? Bebo?! That site is for ten year old girls! Get a grip! Tsss!!
  15. Such a poser So nonchalant You see?! But hungry nontheless Walkies The tree fell a year or two ago onto the path so a guy with a chain saw cut a tunnel through it the next day, but it lived, and looks truly brilliant now. It was cloudy when we set off...should of brought a water bottle for him: still another four miles to go. This walk has a bit of everything And, simply cause I could not resist adding this pic (taken by my older sister) Not edited by the way, but some of the others had some minor (newbie ) adjustments. Thanks for looking
  16. Actually, if I could get someone in the US to buy it and send it to me (for the price, postage and a substantial tip) I would buy the wave: Wave($58.26(£35.92))

  18. As above...I'm wanting to get a multitool and am wanting it to be about £20-£30...I was looking at the Leatherman Kick: Amazon . COM but ... Amazon . CO . UK Which, to be honest, I don't understand (the two prices), but hey. So is that the best one for the price or are there better ones that I simply can't find?
