  1. Ah thanks, I don't know how but I completely missed that section
  2. I didn't really know what section this should go in, sorry. I was just wondering, for a friend, what is the minimum age to obtain a shotgun license? He owns a bit of land himself and could, theoretically, get some large permission, and so a shotgun would help a fair bit over an air rifle. He's 16 by the way. And google, once again, has not helped; I've been told none, 14, 16 and 17... Thanks.
  3. Two things: firstly, you should buy a dog training book, preferably before you get a dog, but anyway they're well worth the investment, I can't remember what we got but if you look on a site like amazon and get what seems to be most popular... Secondly, how old is he? My dog, although he had constant training on his recall, he wan't too good at it, but when he was two, he started to be better, and when he turned three it just kind of clicked and now he's perfect. I have no science or anything to proce it, but a fair number of people seem to agree that most dogs calm down once they hit 2.5

    Bored

Watch a movie. Or don't download movies off several well known websites via a well known .exe

    ADMIN ?

Have you read the maximum size? So, if uploading directly from your computer, the file must be less than 100kb, which means low quality or very small photo.
  6. Have you guys not watched all the "Retarded Policeman" videos?! I'm disappointed
  7. OOooOO, we don't have those around where I live, that's what I'm blaming it on. Nice pic, by the way.
  8. Nearly! If it's not goldfinch nor siskin I would have to go for greenfinch. Otherwise I'll have to give up, pretty sure it is a finch, though.
  9. I've been looking at stock making for a fair while, and I've decided it'll be my winter project. I've got all the tools I need to shape it and can buy some wire wool and oils for the finish, But I have absolutely no idea whatsoever on how to cut out the space for the action and anyway I don't have the tools to do it, so I was wondering if anyone who made stock blanks relatively cheaply (out of cheap material) also could do that? Oh, and if I'm persuaded to attempt it myself, or get someone nearby to do it, I don't know of any woodsmiths (if thats what they're called ) but I'm sure I coul
  10. So do you guys have a rough idea of how much a random stock, provided it is well made (and I am thinking of one of the run of the mill types), should be? Like Price of wood + £n per hour + quality including the fit to the action? Rough guestimations? Thanks.
  11. Got a second hand one. It's quite good, although I've only ever used it and the club's target shooting rifles. Recoil is a little more than I would prefer, but not enough to grumble about, trigger is a little heavy, but again not enough to grumble about...although I would like if it was one of those snazzy two stage triggers. All in all, for the price tag a great rifle, in my opinion.
  12. My being cheap I found that this is best for price and quality: Only $58, and worldwide shipping. It is especially good seeing as the same product, under UK sales is: £87!!!! Although, also cheap, I'm looking into getting this as a general purpose type knife: Frosts Mora 2000. Good luck to him, and suggest that he ought to go wild camping
  13. That is great. Although it sounds like if it had been real it would have been very interesting ... but not half as funny
  14. hehe. I personally like this too: Clicky Going on the duck theme. (esp. like 0:45)
  15. Benjii, I hate to break it to you, but unless the guy on the left is ten-foot f*****g giant, there is no way the trap is 9' 2".
  16. Yep. Me and my brother were talking about this a while back (us both being avid copyright guardians ) and so it is like this: a film is usually compressed to okay, watchable quality of about 800mb, if they did films at that quality, maybe £3-4 a movie. Let's be honest (within reason), 800mb downloading doesn't take an awfully long time, does it? Games, about 5gb, about £10-15 each, and music about £5 an album max. If they continue wanting to make massive amounts of profit, they ain't going to make any profit. Oh, and Maltenby, are you referring to Spotify? I personally don't u
  17. Same here, but it's more the companies want to make the government make internet providers have to either cut of those who do it or provide the companies with their names and evidence so they can privately prosecute. Or so I am led to believe. However, personally I don't reckon it's every going to happen, because, as you pointed out, such a large amount of people worldwide do it.
  18. You dropped your gum on your dog?!
  19. Yep, illegal, the government are (apparently) planning to crack down on illegal downloading and streaming of copyrighted material (as it is copyright infringement) and costs the international entertainment industry (again, apparently) over £700m annually of potential sales. Although most people I know that do it wouldn't waste the money on it and only do it because it's free. But so, yeah, to avoid any trouble forums try to prevent such information. Fair enough really ... pff
  20. Movie sites? You mean illegally streaming or downloading copyrighted material without having to pay anything? Yeah, most forums like to stay legal although we all do it
  21. My AGS 3-9 x50 I got is mounted on my bsa lightning, it is pretty good, and I got it for £25 inc. mounts and it retails for about £55 (I got it second hand off AirgunsBBS). So, I would highly recommend buying second hand: I see no reason why not, so long as you feel you can trust the guy.

    ??

you could be onto something there mate, there is a few massive eagles that fly around there. rarely see them though Dont think theres eagles in Northamptonshire LOL probably buzzards or Red Kites if your over Kettering / Corby way. We have a lot of red kites round where I live, and they're most definitely scavengers, they wouldn't take on a full grown live rabbit, very young ones, maybe, but never full grown. Probably was a dog, it sounds like dog damage and they don't always kill, and a lot of dog walkers would rather not 'know' than put the poor thing out of it's misery.
