  1. or two trees Yeah, I know, but if I didn't bring the poles I must know that there'll be two trees not too far apart from one another to do so, and if I knew that I'd rather have a hammock. Besides, sleeping on tree roots is quite uncomfortable. Hammock I found: hammock £22!
  2. Unfortunately not Thanks guys for your comments, and yeah I've been looking at hammock camping: looks good. Oh and another type I saw was camping with a tarp and bivvy bag, any good? However the tarps seem to slightly defeat their pros by (seemingly) needing two sizeable poles to support them...
  3. I just wondered. *Laughs nervously* I agree with compo

How are you "not to keen on firefox"?? Firefox is much safer (protection wise), nicer to look at, faster, and (for emphasising purposes) MUCH SAFER!! IE is virus laden and just generally pathetic in comparison to Mozilla.
  5. Got back a couple of hours ago from my first 'wild' camping trip: only one night but it was the first time. A very nice little fallow field in the middle of an okay sized wood (probably the biggest wood in a ten mile radius of my house and I live in one of the most sparsely populated counties in England (apparently) ), got the tent set up, then me and my brother watched some deer, listened to the foxes, ooo'ed and arr'ed at two separate firework display some six or so kilometres away, hehe, then had a little fire with my firesteel which didn't really work due to the twigs being too wet
  6. the links not working mate it says the link is broken It is working, just click on it and fix the url: just remove everything before the 'www'.
  7. Tight git :11: Shup! I'm only fourteen after all ...
  8. Has to be bourbon merely because they taste okay AND they are only 37p for a large packet!!
  9. I've found that due to that really hot week a few weeks ago all the elderflower has already bloomed ... I'd be surprised if it isn't the same where you live.
  10. Very good idea, shame it's fake. But to be fair it wouldn't actually work because the zoo ought to have been receiving the car parking fees and I think they would notice that amount of income not incoming.
  11. Pics of both the pups and the parents, perhaps? Also, how much would you want for them?
  12. About 6-7, not that it makes a difference Yep, that about proves it. Total bser (I hope), does this sort of thing qualify for a suspension? 'Bringing this forum into disrepute' By the way, for your information my avatar is there for a reason 'Fox Destroyer' Plus, it's just a nice pic
  13. Why just hunters? I don't understand why ANYONE would watch (or read) them! When I was twelve I picked up the first book, read twenty pages and put it down due to the fact that she writes like shit!
  14. I agree! Feck mate, I think you've got wrong! If your dogs only get into trouble when there's another dog ... in this world that sounds like a lot of trouble and all your fault because you know it will happen but continue to let your dogs (that bite children) off the lead!! Also, I have a gundog who is not at all aggressive (except when he's on the other side of his fence ) and if anything he will either play with the dogs or blank them!! Feck me!
  15. I have one of those leads that sort of wind in and can be about 6m when fully extended ... when walking beside quiet residential roads I let my dog (who is well enough behaved for me to trust to an extent) to have control of about 6m of leash but when there is a car, person or animal I shorten it. When walking along a busy road he is always on a short a lead as possible, but I let him off once we are away from roads and as he knows the walks and enjoys them he happily obliges to behave and stay on track to an acceptable degree.
  16. How do you get into beating? (I know next to nothing about it) Also, I've heard that it is in seasons, I'm presuming this is September to march?
  17. I'm in Henley-on-Thames. Thanks everyone for your replies, I'm gonna try to talk to a landowner (I've had an eye on his rabbits for a fair while ) some time in the next couple of weeks.
  18. What counts as payment? Just money or do 'material goods' count?
  19. It's an okay idea but I think doing the same sort of idea except within your local, say, three clubs - no postage and would be able to trust others more whilst people still able to chip in (or the clubs themselves could pay a % of the price to allow all their members to use it).
  20. You could go wild camping. Much more flexible, doesn't cost anything, and most importantly no annoying people who think 'camping' is sitting in a motor home for the weekend and watching their portable dvd players.
