    Couple of Novembers ago a man rang me looking to have a fox sorted out. Local genius' had already made him lamp shy, twice, just to make sure, so he was impossible to get at night. Cheeky fecker got nammed at five past one in the afternoon, so he could also be coming during the day. The man I shot him for used to let out his hens and ducks later on a Saturday as he'd be at the mart in the morning, so he was in effect training the fox to come at that time which is just what happened.     I don't think not washing for a week will be enough...try 6 months living on the streets and you might pass as a crusty. If they produce a bar of soap during the interview you MUST pass out, upon regaining consciousness you must seek out some form of herbal/homeopathic remedy for your "inner being wellness" That and wear sandals, like Jesus done.....

    Funny you should mention this, I was talking to a fella at the mart on Saturday. He told me he'd caught his first fox in a cage trap, and seeing as how I failed fooking miserably at same I asked what he used. A bucket of blood! He made a trail of it into the trap where he put a good bit of it. Good idea if you've access to it, or just knock off someone you don't like

    Saw a programme here not so long ago that had trail/game cameras used by the Dublin SPCA I think they were. They had the cameras positioned over a badger set and got some footage of people there alright.

    Thanks again Ayshire DB, they are supposed to work out to 100 yards, but a lot of stuff I read online says . Reception seems to be better if the unit is up above the surrounding ground.

    I bought something by PM today. It wasn't a mincer though. I wanted to find out some info about the item from the seller without tipping my hand to anyone else interested. When I was satisified with the answers I got the conversation just kept going from there, by PM.

    So my foxing rifle weights in at just over 14lbs, and there'll be a little more weight onto that once the Optimus and mount get's sorted. I'm currently using a Butler Creek stretchy sling, which is fine for what it is. However, I believe I am having some discomfort particularly in my right shoulder from the single strap type sling. I'm looking to change to something different to get rid of the discomfort. (Already taking steps to get rid of the battery backpack). Probably a two strap sling? But I'm open to suggestions here because I am not well up on the different types out there.
