  1. Or another one of them really long range North Korean rockets that didn't work right
  2. There have been sightings from all over Ireland too, it even made the news. I was out lamping a few years ago and happened ot look up into the sky. There was this fireball moving through the sky, never seen the likes of it before. I was genuinely waiting for the bang.
  3. No, but he's still a(n imaginary) c**t all the same.
  4. Leave the USA to come to this side of the Atlantic Have you by chance been near any large explosions lately? I think you may have concussion You're clearly not thinking straight.
  5. Reckon I could afford a few slug pellets
  6. Greenhouse with bullet proof glass?
  7. http://www.donedeal.ie/for-sale/farmproduce/3910981 How would you propagate such a bush, by cutting or seed I wonder
  8. I can see a Jeff Dunham sketch out of this. Jeff: So, Achmed, you got bad news during the week... Achmed: News, bad news? What bad news? Jeff: I hear you had a loss in the family..... Your cousin? Achmed: Oh....... Him......... No.... No loss............. Damn embaressment! Walter: Runs in the family...................... Jackass!
  9. *rabble-rabble* Death to The Great Satan! *cough-cough* Thud...........................
  10. The sweet smell of toxic fume irony Never understood this burning flags business, seems a bit pointless, especially when they start stamping on them in sandals 'the f**k is that about?
  11. Compared to chocolate here, American "chocolate" is utter shite.
  12. Where the hell did he get grenades from?
  13. Meindl - but you need to take proper care of them, they're not wellies.
  14. Handy person could make larsen or fox traps with that. Probably loads of other uses as well, I wouldn't scrap it.
  15. Wxm, The wendy house wouldn't last long with the wind we get. I have three telegraph down on the farm but I'm going to use them in a roof when I get around to fixing up an old ruin. I like the idea of the slide though, need to chase after a fox, wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! SS, No trees, well, no trees in the right place! That tower in your post looks close to what I'd like, but a little bigger so I can have room for a log burning stove too, just to annoy TBD
  16. Nah, if it'd be too small for a mattress A hammock might work though
  17. I usually leave ideas simmer, if I come back to them I know it's for me, if not then it wasn't. Cost is surely an issue, timber ain't cheap. My sisters fella is a builder so I might get his opinion on it, the fella I shoot with mostly is a chippy as well.
  18. Too big, no access for it I'm afraid. But I've seen entire "homes" constructed of them online and on TV. They certainly are useful things to have around the place. Something like in the photo above would be ideal, perhaps squarer and with the changes I outlined. The challenges will be keeping cost down, the foundations, the ground wires and thinking the whole thing out with regard to the wind. Gravity is an unpleasant thing when it's against a person!
  19. Has anyone ever built an enclosed tower for shoothing, deer or anything else. I do not mean a high seat or tree stand, but something similar to this: Though I would add/change some things: Some type of top hinged windows - they would give protection from wind/rain, but leave the option to open and close as needs be. 360 degree outside platform for resting the rifle A little larger perhaps A little stronger I am toying with the idea of one for the farm to shoot foxes out of at lambing time. It would give some comfort and protection from the elements as well as a raised view of t
  20. Twice the distance from the middle to the end, next question please.
  21. After seeing firsthand how football is a religion in Kerry I wouldn't be at all surprised if hurling was treated the same in KK
  22. If one team was in yellow and blue and the other in blue and yellow I'd hazard a guess Clare were playing Tipp! Pretty much only two provinces of the four have much hurling, those being Munster and Leinster. Galway is in Connacht and we used to be in a very unfair position of having no competitive games until I think the quarter final stage of the All Ireland so we went out - a lot, first game. But now we've been put in with the Leinster teams and I think that will benefit Galway immensely having proper competitive games. I think Antrim, in Ulster, are also in Leinster now. Very true,
  23. http://www.break.com/index/achmed-the-terrorist.html Gotta love Achmed
  24. Galway 2-13 Kilkenny 0-19 It was a draw, as a goal = 3 points. First time in a very long time a final finished in a draw!
