  1. no doubt the scumbag deserves all he gets(i like the fishing line with trebles on,just make it look like a big f off sea rig out to dry ). its probably some scag head so be carefull how hard he "falls" i would hate to hear of a ;ad protecting his dogs and getting done for manslaughter. would a combination of the fishing line with hooks work on a car battery(subtitute the line for some decent wire?) if so i hope you have a camera when he gets tangled, now that would be a spinner on you tube !!!!!!!!!!! the very best of luck to you in catching the low life scum with their fingers i
  2. sorry to hear you are a tad short in length bud i was less distracted with these and counted right, they are 6ft long and 18 mesh wide (6ft). if i can get to the show i'll come bud,i owe you a pint for the shortcoming(perdon the pun ) thanks for the comment waidmann
  3. the addition of a drop of aulan will stop beatles etc eating it when dry waidmann
  4. absolute death for the working dogs. boycott the shows that will not allow these dogs to be shown and support the ones which will. waidmann
  5. no clint my freind you need a big frying pan and a medium sized freezer one hip flask would not wash one of those steaks down though,do you stash some outdoors "sgs"??????? waidmann
  6. i would be more pissed off at forgetting the dog,the day would be pointless for me without one. the dog gives me % of the fun for the day 15% the crack and 5% shooting squirrels, pheasant, duck and other creatures (in that order for some reason ). apart from the fact that my dog would not let me forget him as he sticks to me like glue when i get the gun out of the cabinet waidmann

    Buzzard ????

i have had two calls from guys off the falconry forum today. one had lost a gosshawk not far from the site. another had been to the site today on request and caught a sick ringed buzzard which has been taken to the vets and forwarded to the "raptor center" to be nursed back to health. thanks from the above to donny waidmann
  8. in germany all snaring is banned and only trained people are allowed to use traps(strict terms of type and power of the trap). thats where we are going with the laws and legislations fellas,"god bless united europe"  waidmann
  9. charcoal is burnt wood, coal contains mineral oils/gases waidmann
  10. some fantastic housing for the dogs there lads, lots of thought and effort gone into them for sure mine stay in the house and i'm not sure they are that much better off!!!!!!!!!!! a credit to you lads waidmann
  11. nice shot!! i have some rooks and crows that are having a pop at the newly drilled corn too. a couple of decoys and a dead fox might do the trick i think(for a while anyway). good shooting and thanks for sharing bud. waidmann
  12. sorry to press the point mate but the dog is seven months old, i think alot of dogs would run away from a cat twice their size if not more. from the original post the dog was surprised to see the cat. and lastly nobody has spoken of the dog being "game" (who could at that age?) unless i have missed something? waidmann
  13. i have used the decoy owl a few times without success and was told by an "old boy" to use spray glue to fix the feathers of a hen pheasant to the owl BINGO!!!! i had a fair few crows with the decoy owl after that(it had flapping wings too!!!!!). the do get smart to it though, its a good tool for a few times then move well away and start again stuffed foxes are meant to be good too. waidmann
  14. i think the stuff from frontline has changed and is not so effective? i use the pipettes from tescos (3x pipettes for big dogs for around eight quid) i would give one to the dog and the other two on your fella, don't rub their necks untill dry waidmann

    Buzzard ????

some do fly bussards mate. do you have a location as i'm on the falconry forum too and could post it on there?
  17. It doesn't matter what the quarry is, a game terrier will try and tackle anything, no matter what size or how many claws or teeth its got. His dog turned and ran away from the quarry, so for me the dog isn't game. But in saying that the dog does what SGS needs it to do, so that's fair enough. I'll also add that I can only imagine how tough them Bobcats must be, Feral cats over here can be right tough b*****ds so I bet they're a right handful. i think the terrier(or any dog for that matter) should have enough brains to decide when to stand and when to avoid stronger fighting quarr
  18. i doubt it will do him any good mate, could be a deficiancy or just boredom(mine will chew stick and slippers ). waidmann

  21. the very thought of her picking the nets up in them skirts i bet her ferret don't smell though(descneted, covered in perfume???) good to hear of positive press for the hunting folk and for the stinkers,i hope this is not the start of a ferret pet boom as most will be getting rid as soon as they have a ferret hanging onto them waidmann
