Interesting statement, do you get upto Scotland much ? Obviously I have not been for over 10 years other than to drive through it on my way to the ferry but when I used to visit I thought it was amazing ! From what I can see, the “Irish” republicans don’t know their arse from their elbow on these matters……on the one hand they are all “Free Palestine” and on the other they are “Don’t f**k up our communities with incomers”……you can see it leaves many of them in a rather uncomfortable position. A 3 bed semi round there is half a million quid and the council tax is £2k a year……that place won’t be creating jobs that cover any of that……imho it’s just once again our government whoring us and our land to people who couldn’t give a f**k about us….they get rich, we loose something forever. I used to have long conversations with Gnasher on here, I’d be advocating about how we need to be clever about it all and he would be saying how we just need to be honest about things and true to ourselves and vote for nationalist party’s because these other people didn’t really believe in our people like we do……..and do you know what, the more I see, the more I’m beginning to see exactly what he meant. Let’s look at it another way, if that was left in food production it could feed 17500 people per year, every year, forever !! I think it’s been amazing watching all the talking heads on the news saying this complicated thing or that complicated thing and seemingly completely unable to figure out what Trumps up to…..and then inferring that because they don’t know it means he don’t know either ! Me as a simple oik thinks it all just looks like good old fashioned carrot & stick ?…….could be wrong and probably am.

Anyone who has followed Declan Rice career will know the lad is an absolute baller…..from years ago as a kid in a cup game against Cheltenham Town (I think) just making real simple 5 and 10 yard passes, mature football way beyond his years to watching videos of him pinging 50 yard balls into mini goals to last night……he is unbelievable and he makes quality look so simple that he don’t fully get the recognition such a class player deserves. Don’t know if it’s warm there at the moment but they had a lovely cafe/bar/arts area by the river there…..really nice, good mixture of people of all ages, family's, all sitting and enjoying food and music. As for language, you get by, everyone speaks English and you soon pick stuff up…..

I was on business in Poland, Posnan (spel ?) to be exact…..I thought it was lovely. Clean, modern, industry all making and doing things from chairs to combine harvesters, historic, social in the town centre, felt safe….nice atmosphere all round. Had one cabbie try his luck for a fare, but “f**k off” is a universal language and it never caused a problem. Everything was cheap, Sterling went a long way when converted to Zloti….good all round from what I could see

Of course you are affected, everyone is but it’s a question of “can you tolerate it?” If you can and/or you like it then great, no reason to look anywhere else…..but if you can’t then it’s very doable as long as you are willing to make adjustments…..that’s all I’m saying.

You have to ask yourself, how is everyone else getting by ?…….because there is always ways and means. Theres an English lad up the road to me, he is a lagger and just flys home when a contract comes along….works for a month or two on price and then that’s it, flys back and has 6 months off doing whatever he wants because his money gos so much further. Europe is small, you can get round it as quick as you can commute into any major U.K. city

Moving anywhere is a trade off I would imagine…… The calculation imho is always: Do the things you value outweigh the things you don’t like ? It ain’t always about the money……if you’re chasing money you have to go where money is, trouble with that is that it’s often not the best place to actually live, raise kids, not be around madness or degradation.
