without blowing my own trumpet we have farmers/hobbiest coming 100's of miles to us.even across sea's(isle of wight anyway) because in all my time there i've never known it to anything like that to happen.not even nicking a sausage.you should always tattoo pigs because ear tags can come out in the de hairer. i hear lots about it from customers how they've taken a pig in with a docked tail somewhere,went to pick it up and it must had grown one and they'd been assured it's the same pig. yeah a farmer told me about getting a heifer killed for his own freezer in local butchers and he wasn't happ

I have found if you are reading for your own freezer then pigs are the cheapest meat to rear, you get back good weight of meat compared to the cost of input and slaughter. The last two I had were wild boar Xs and they taste really nice......no more horrible shop bought dry pork ! Pigs are fun to keep, they are naughty little feckers for sure but it's all part of the fun. You are spot on with all your posts mate, and as you say, they are shit hot on pig movement in Ireland.

I have to say, while I can certainly appreciate the creature, these folk who keep snakes and spider and crack on like they are a fecking dog genuinely snap me. When they handle them with that smug f***ing look on their face I am screaming inside "go on, bite him and kill him!!"

Just my opinion mate but I think the president of the United States just bypassing them (when every other politicians licks their arse) and using to social media to spout his own unedited shite gave them a real kick up the arse.......I dont think they like it one bit. In the U.K. The media have been the kingmakers for too long imho and I'm sure that will be the case over the pond. They tried their best to sabotage his campaign, failed and are doing the same with his presidency.......but he just keeps ignoring them and going round them direct to the news consumer. I hear you mate but I'd take a fair bet that it's got very little to do with improving general health. If they want to improve the health of kids make it so that only 1 parent has to work to afford to live so that the other can cook a proper meal with ingridients they have had time to shop for at proper greengrocers and butchers instead of some shite they picked up at the take a way or pre packed in Tesco because mum and dad didn't manage to get off the train until 7pm !!

I own 2 areas of peat bog and have my own turf cut every year, cut a bit more this year and that stands me in €500 landed back at mine and that will last me 12-18 months.......that's very healthy because at that money I'm not dying of stress about home heating bills ! Lol

Yep, because digging oil and Gas out of the planet is much more moralistic than cutting down a tree that grows over and over again !! The 100 wood burning fires that "might" be in London will make all the difference compared to the 12 zillion cars and the power stations that provide the electric for all the trains and buildings !! What we need is nuclear waste.......that's clean !

A bloke I know has a spitfire, he don't do anything with it (even though he can fly and has a plane) he just leaves it in a container accumulating value ! Lol
