Spot on BGD, I read the other day there are 8.3 million people who are just holding on......they have missed at least 2 bill payments in the last 6 months. What's a 1 or 2 % rise in interest rates going to do to them? And bare in mind, that's probably about 11% of the population !!

It's funny isn't it, everyone on here was so passionate about Brexit right up to the point of the referendum result then everyone stopped paying attention when the real job started. I remember them taking us on a school walk along the river from Blackwall tunnel up towards Greenwhich.......a kid fell in and had to have his stomach pumped when they got him out! Lol And I can still see as if it were yesterday the old "lifeguard" bird at the swimming baths in school lessons with a giant bamboo pole and a fag hanging out her mouth.......she used the pole to spear you away from the sides of the pool so you couldn't get out! Lol Halcyon days ! Lol

I'd have loved to move to a little English village and have what I have now..........but I couldn't have afforded it to be free of a mortgage, to be free of the people doing this to my country and the people and things they are doing it with. I chose not to be part of their corrupt system, their corrupt politics and the thousands of bureaucrats helping them enforce their warped vision for my homeland. I had to check out........it was my only viable route to some kind of freedom.

Green Lurchers, you, me and my brother should get together.....we'd be about 30 stone each and all have heart attacks happy as pigs in shit ! Does the chili oil not over power the lobster at all ? A pal of mine went down to Norfolk years ago, ex hod carrier and green grocer, just got fed up and f****d off.......took a share in a boat and was doing a ton of crab a week into China town. He used to do the fish stall over the farmers market at Barleylands......don't know if he still does, years since I seen him.

it depends where you live in the uk wilf its not all about London and big citys there's places in the uk that are as backward as they where in 60s and 70s ,I have spoken to people that have come to wales on holiday and they have said its like going back in timeNo, I understand that mate......it's right up the spine of the country really where it is worst.Pockets of Wales retain their culture through language and I have massive respect for them for doing so. But I was speaking to the wife earlier and we both th said most ordinary lads couldn't afford to live in the more traditional places....

The best thing that could happen to the U.K. Is that it gos skint !!.........it could do with getting a lot poorer and a lot smaller in population.......at least 10 or 20 million less people would be spot on. It all needs to just wind back the clock. It dont have to be the way it is, not 50 miles away people are living an older, slower, poorer and much better way of life. 50 f***ing miles !! It kills me, it really does.

I like The Yacht better, I just think it's a nicer spot. I always take the kids back to Greenwhich when we are all over and I always pop in there with them for a lemonade after we have made pigs if ourselves down the market.

Powerful mate, I don't mind admitting that made me a bit emotional. It's exactly how I and I'm sure many, many like me feel. I always tell people here I'm a refugee and they laugh and I laugh with them.......but they don't realize that I'm telling the truth.
