Later on when she was fully into her career we would have a drink now and again when she was home. I always found it terribly cringeworthy all the awkward, childish blokes that would come creeping up talking absolute shite.....f***ing embarrassing! I always liked the company of women when I was a young man, they are by and large a much better laugh and a lot more grown up and interesting. Fact is, what you get to see when you hang out with birds is that most blokes are total pricks. Always loved women, fascinating creatures.

Do you know what mate, I was chatting to the Mrs last night as she has been watching the news (which I tend not to do) and I said to her that it’s bollocks really that you have to watch and then consider all the various angles on every segment. You can’t just watch a segment and take it as factual reporting, terrible state of affairs really. Even stuff that resonates with your own bias you have to think about is it credible or do I just like what I’m hearing because it reinforces my own prejudice. f***ing shit state we are in really in that regard

Was working with my pal many years ago at a private home in an outside office they had built. Anyway they had a dog that was always in and out, friendly old thing. So, we were working away and my pal manages to take the top off his thumb with a Stanley knife, so I quickly grab whatever padding I can and a load of black tape and try and tape it up because it was squirting blood like a hose pipe. That done I look down and the top of his thumb is laying there on the floor so I pick it up and just at that moment old Fido comes wandering in to see what all the commotion is about.....

That takes me back to a very, very debauched weekend at Reading festival......never bothered taking a tent just figured on kipping wherever we collapsed and it worked out handsomely ! See Neil Young and Crazy Horse that weekend too.......halcyon days !
