    I seen that too a couple of days ago but didn’t bother to make comment about it because I just didn’t think it was worth it…….it’s just part of why they (government and markets) are torturing the f***ing life out of people, they want us back in !

    Either way it would have been one long vomit-fest wouldn’t it mate. Don’t see much virtue signalling down non league I have to say. You get what you pay for I guess. Anyway, for some reason a tiny part of me hopes we go out in the group, it’s the nastier side of character that always wants to f**k up a party does that.

    Likewise mate, however, it’s great fun to talk about double standards from all these organisation from FIFA to the BBC to the government and even players……I personally couldn’t give a flying feck if they had the whole of Islamabad buried in the foundations of those stadiums.

    In one regard, fair play to him, FIFA can’t pick and choose the politics when all they have done is allowed football to be politicised. And he is there for the same reason we all kept watching while they spent a season giving a “f**k you” to white people everywhere. We can’t pick and choose either !

    The thing that I was waiting for and the BIG difference between 1955 and today is the Regan period of deregulation……it’s what allowed them to sell junk bonds rated as AAA+ by Moodys and S&P and bet against those same bonds then walk away Scot free while we picked up the tab (still picking it up) ! That is the gaping hole in that testimony !

    This is me in full “tin foil hat” mode mate but I think they know they are in deep shit with the electorate, so they will give everyone some really terrible pain way over proportion to the amount they think they are in trouble……then, a few months out from the election throw everyone a bone that people will be desperate and happy to grab. I genuinely think they are just playing with peoples lives now, they ain’t even trying to hide it. We have to start electing other people, even if that means coalition (which I don’t think would be a bad thing) and put these Labour and Tory traitors

    Fair play to you mate, I also remember that early late 80s/early 90s time and it was bad for lads. But, here is the point as I see it, why should blokes like you and everyone else working very hard to stand still have to keep picking up the tab while these pricks in Westminster and their investment bank masters walk away Scott free ? Its time people said “f**k them”

    Just to be clear mate, that’s their wage before tax.

    They are “blowing it” on rent, electric, council tax, gas, petrol, phone bill and eating eating ! They have cheekily booked themselves 5 days in Copenhagen and a weeks skiing in France in January which isn’t exactly pushing the boat out imho !

    They can live by the beach in Donegal for an absolute fraction of the money and she can still do her job mate, then they can enjoy a bit of travelling while they are still young and save a few quid as well. Wouldnt take them long to save up enough to buy a little do up place outright here……exactly how it should be imho mate. Im just happy that they ain’t like me and can only see the graft, some of these young people have a better world view than I ever did and they are seeing the bigger picture earlier in their lives than I ever did too.

    My daughter and her boyfriend moved over to Swansea for his work (he is some kind of scientist !) and she is a PA for some big firm in London which she does remotely, they are on over a grand a week between them, no kids, no debt, no credit cards, car is owned, just a rented house and they are going to move back soon because they don’t have hardly any money left to themselves every week ! She phoned me last night and just said “this is shit Dad”……they don’t want to just work for the man and I don’t blame them. f**k all future for young people in that country now.
