This is me in full “tin foil hat” mode mate but I think they know they are in deep shit with the electorate, so they will give everyone some really terrible pain way over proportion to the amount they think they are in trouble……then, a few months out from the election throw everyone a bone that people will be desperate and happy to grab. I genuinely think they are just playing with peoples lives now, they ain’t even trying to hide it. We have to start electing other people, even if that means coalition (which I don’t think would be a bad thing) and put these Labour and Tory traitors

They are “blowing it” on rent, electric, council tax, gas, petrol, phone bill and eating eating ! They have cheekily booked themselves 5 days in Copenhagen and a weeks skiing in France in January which isn’t exactly pushing the boat out imho !

They can live by the beach in Donegal for an absolute fraction of the money and she can still do her job mate, then they can enjoy a bit of travelling while they are still young and save a few quid as well. Wouldnt take them long to save up enough to buy a little do up place outright here……exactly how it should be imho mate. Im just happy that they ain’t like me and can only see the graft, some of these young people have a better world view than I ever did and they are seeing the bigger picture earlier in their lives than I ever did too.

My daughter and her boyfriend moved over to Swansea for his work (he is some kind of scientist !) and she is a PA for some big firm in London which she does remotely, they are on over a grand a week between them, no kids, no debt, no credit cards, car is owned, just a rented house and they are going to move back soon because they don’t have hardly any money left to themselves every week ! She phoned me last night and just said “this is shit Dad”……they don’t want to just work for the man and I don’t blame them. f**k all future for young people in that country now.

Just watched the original first two series of Top Boy again, if you can get past all the wog lingo it’s a fantastic and realistic story. Dont know if I’ll bother with the latest netiflix new series (filmed 10 years after the original)…..some things shouldn’t be revisited.

Is it ?…….only if you believe the government want to get rid of these people ! I dont think they do, here is my prediction…….almost none of the people that have arrived in, say, the last 3 years will be sent back…..they will be granted a status, turned out into communities up and down that land and that’s where they will stay bringing everything they left behind with them. Thats been the story for the last 70 years and I don’t see that changing, do you ?
