Unless someone says “no”……I don’t think it’s a fantastical notion to assume that if the UK said say, in the case of the channel boats, no more will be allowed ashore and any that attempt it will be blown to bits in the water and meant it, that those boats would stop within 6 weeks. If there’s a will then there most definitely is a way. Maybe that’s regarded as an outdated silly concept but saying “No” seems to be a lost art.

I understand and respect your premise but I don’t agree. I think your timelines are all out of whack, Let’s take Britain, it has existed for tens of thousands of years as a populated island…..and broadly speaking the indigenous Britain of today is indistinguishable from he Britain of 2 or 3 thousand years ago, if you had stood a village of 1945 as a group next to a village of 100ad unclothed in a room they would have looked the same pretty much. Surely from a non technical point of view it just makes good sense to all be using the same round as our allies ?……it wouldn’t be much good being with a load of Americans and saying “well, we have run out of 7.62 so that’s us, we are off home”………much more logical for it to all be interchangeable surely ?

The most stark contrast is if you watch old films of Britain from the 50s & 60s, not studio films but pathe type every day life films, and compare the demographic of what you are seeing there to what you are seeing on your high streets every day. When you watch you can only conclude that socially & culturally & genetically we are a people in decline. I just find it heartbreaking myself, how the f**k did it happen

Couple of things….. That boy is 20 !……let that sink in ! Secondly, you can tell that going to Dortmund was a fantastic career choice…..they have just lost Bellingham and in most teams that would crush you but Dortmund are unbelievable!……that’s the environment that produces players as we are seeing now with Bellingham !
