I don’t need to convince you mate, I just don’t agree. Theres moral codes in all walks of life, they ain’t always shared by everyone but they do exist, why should football be any different ? ?

I personally like things like that, I think it’s an iconic moment…..they use the word “Respect” in football too much now days and for all sappy reasons but real respect is earned in the battle, in the confrontation, in the knocking and taking the knock and behaving like a man…..it’s seems to be something we are loosing more and more and football is poorer for it imho.

When someone folds like that on a football pitch and they have not been touched then you know it’s bad, I’m guessing most players wouldn’t give it a second thought if he still laying there after a tackle……it’s all degrees of things mate and I don’t suppose any of us know until in the moment but I totally got why he caught that ball. I wouldn’t have thought less of Paulo if he had brought it down and scored, I’d have been ecstatic, but I definitely thought more of him (if that was possible ! Lol) because he did catch it.

It’s an interesting conversation mate, I think there’s a time to kick the keepers hand off and bury it and the ball in the back of the net and a time to be a proper chap……there ain’t much satisfaction in smashing the big f***ing animal of a centre back if he is already laid up with a broken ankle…..probably a bad analogy but I’m sure you get my drift. Paulo almost inevitably gets a free pass from fans, I think that just gos with his status and the regard he was held in but at the same token I believe he could have scored in that moment if he had wanted…..never mind all the old bolloc

The man was my hero, a gladiator and to me I understood what he did completely…..I remember it like it was yesterday and it was no surprise to me when I watched it, a warrior is defined by the power of his opponents not by killing people with knives in the back. I think he would have been ashamed to score in that moment.

I think over the course of my life I’ve wrecked about 4 dressing rooms when you came in after loosing a game and some prat said “Unlucky lads, well done !” ? Theres f**k all well done or unlucky about it, be better, fight harder ! If you ain’t feeling that with your sport, stay at home and do the cross word imho mate.

All wise words lads, and here’s the thing, it should be easy to do all the things you say……but personally I don’t think we live in that world. Imho, the whole system is set up to put people in debt, the world runs on debt…..they don’t want people having their own money, at all…..it’s the council estate money lender but with a suit on and sanctioned by the state. Its just plain f***ing wrong. Its the reason “the markets” just destroyed a whole British government and put their own man in as chancellor. Really excited to see how The Brothers Of Italy pan out in the coming batt

It’s strange but I don’t really think of our couple of farm pets as dogs, for a start they ain’t mine, they are my little lads and one that just landed on the doorstep as a pup so that’s the wife and daughters……secondly they require no care or attention (sounds e awful ! Lol) but they just roam free round my little small holding, live outside all the time, eat all the leftovers…..they are just “here” if that makes sense. Beyond removing the occasional tick, cleaning up the occasional cut and a trim for the collie they don’t really demand any attention so they are totally different to havi

Ahh, I wouldn’t be too hard on folks mate……they only swallowed the bait cast for them in a system engineered to put them in debt like lots of people have done, who of us can say we always lived with the experience of age ? Not me. As I say, pains coming for hundreds of thousands of people and they are going to need kindness not contempt ?

With work vans I used to price it against how many jobs it would take before everything was profit, so if I couldn’t pay for it in 2 or 3 jobs I didn’t want it. The other thing, I like to own stuff so that there’s no surprises……I know mortgages are not realistic but most other stuff is. If things get sticky, the less you owe the better. jmho
