  1. skinny tyres 750 x 16s? in my opinion its not a landrover unless you can take it completely apart with couple of spanners an a hammer. i think they went down hill when they stopped using the 300 tdi engine Mine was a petrol that you had to take the seats out of to fill up......the Paki in the garage used to look a bit worried, sure he thought I was digging about in there tooling up to turn him over!!
  2. Funny you say that mate, my wife didnt like the seating in the Audi Is she a big lad too then? Aye  ......... No in all seriousness, I really liked driving the Audi which was my mates, but the old woman found something to moan about as usual! This comming from a woman who was driving a 10 year old Renault at the time!! lol lol........now she has a 12 year old vauxhall that looks like postman pats van and she thinks thats the bollocks too!! go figure!!
  3. Funny you say that mate, my wife didnt like the seating in the Audi
  4. If you are really talking about off road, then the best thing I ever drove was a series 3 ex military Land Rover with skinny military wheels on it, second to none off road and simple to operate.........Winkhound will attemp going places in a Defender that will have you on the valium in two minutes flat, but I still think the S3 would do it better. That said, my pal L200 with decent tyres aint too sore and the same could be said for the Fourtrac
  5. The other big downside to the Vogue is that the dogs make a hell of a mess on the white leather when we go lamping. They reckon the Cayenne is tidy on or off road, but I havnt driven one yet and I know for a fact the dogs dont go in the back of a 911
  6. Until the tarmac ends surely? The Merc and Volvo, they aren't really proper off roaders are they? It's when you need it to be a Land Rover that the Land Rover wins. Dont get wrong mate, the new Discos I also think are a mile in front of the Vogue to drive
  7. Just my personal opinion but I found the Vouge shit to drive, on the backroads of Wales in auto mode it couldnt pull the skin off a rice pudding, had to switch over to semi-auto to get it to go anywhere. The XC90 and ML are much better to drive.....as I said, just my opinion Not driven the 4x4 Audi, but the A8 pisses the RR hands down.
  8. "Buffoons Day Out"..........should be a belter
  9. They do for me at a grand a pup, wouldnt even bother with the £250 type shite......save up your paper round money for the next 10 years and grow some sense then you can apply to own one
  10. Aye I am, but you cant afford one so dont ask i got my hopes up then Dont bother, I am also very chosey about where they go too
  11. Aye I am, but you cant afford one so dont ask
  12. If we are talking about how the public percieves hunting in general and with dogs in paticular then I am afraid you are way off the mark matey, money does indeed talk and bullshit walks as we have found out to our cost!! The anti brigade have mouted very high profile media campaigns which cost a lot of money but have indeed had the desired effect while the pro-hunting lobby has just talked bullshit and hot air!! The CA have done precisely ziltch!! Keep rattling on about "Mounted Packs".......news flash, no one in the country gives a flying f**k about mounted packs!!........tell folk ho
  13. Why, have you got rid of the: Good catcher but lacks bottle Loads of bottle but too slow Small one for rabbits but shit on the turn Big one for fox but dont have the guts One your looking after for a mate One that comes out now and again because its too old And old Smokie who was a good un in its day except it couldnt catch f**k all but has loads of heart Not forgetting uncle tom cobly and all............... ?????
  14. dances, how many times a day are you going to test this dog It will get its chance after the other 6 have had a go!
  15. You and me both.....and for that reason i personally am quite happy the breed is banned if that program is any indication of the calibre of owner the breed now attracts ! Ive been around some very special dogs of this breed, some very good natured and gentle human friendly dogs, some not so friendly......but what they all had in common is they were real and true representatives of the breed, even the bad ones............but these things these scabby sloshpots have today are NOT the breed myself and many others know as the American Pit Bull Terrier.....they are not even close.......to even call t
  16. Dont f*****g think about it, as with most things in life the wheel will turn.
  17. The measure of a person is their ability to say "go and f**k yourself" no matter what the odds or cost imho

Don't be confused into thinking the IRA somehow ever represented the views or wishes of the Irish people. N I would not make that mistake matey, but fair comment

    Dear Ian B

Good point dafty.......take you for instance, now I think you talk out your hole but it makes for an interesting conversation none the less. Life is a tapestry, and sometimes without the crack what would there be?.........to be honest, you can only talk about so much when it comes to hunting with dogs and while I find many other threads interesting and informative, its dogs i really like to read about. Without the crack (nutcases included) the site really would be boring as f**k % of the time
