Did you have something genuine to say on the thread or did you just rock in to talk like a c**t on what has been a very good thread so far?

My old sprinter Luton had 450' 000 on the clock and was going strong until it got nicked.....no cam belt to worry about, regular service......had 310 d and 308 d before that all had over 250'000 on the clock when I sold them and were still working well. Miles on a merc never bother me that much........

Please don't take this the wrong way, but I think that is a very dangerous attitude to have around any dog and especially dogs that are capable of doing real damage......that's how f**k ups happen IMHO Bosun made the best comment on bull breeds when he said he wasn't qualified enough to own a true well bred bull........IMHO, these are the type of people who should own them because they are humble enough to take extra care and pay attention. I man once told me "be humble"......it very good advice. Really enjoying these couple of " big dog" threads.....good reading chaps

my point is this bud, if that dog on tv had grown up in my yard, how ever it was bred hard blood soft blood in fact whatever the breeding of it, i can wager my home on it that it would not have bitten that woman,100% we can call that nature vs nurture or whatever we choose but its not how i see it, because at the end of the the day its about understanding the canine whatever the blood soft or hard,,weak nerves or high drive, its all the same to me, its about dealing with the dog itself, not the process of training used to blanket all dogs and treat them all the same, best of luck

beat the b*****d to submission then an make sure it never happens some people shouldnt own a bullx cross there too much I find that a little strange to be honest, I don't have experience with the large bull breeds but I have plenty of experience with large man work breeds, German/ Dutch bred stuff and if you had beaten them enough they would have killed you! IMHO a terrier is the only dog that benefits from a thrashing, for almost all other breeds anything more than a cuff is a complete waste of time. I could be wrong, but I would think anything with decent bull blood in a good perce

If I have interpreted your post incorrectly then I apologise, that's just how I read it. In hindsight, I should not have written the "fact" comment but should have written " in my experience" I read your post as all dogs are born well adjusted social animals so by implication " bad" dogs are made so by humans or environment.....I personally don't believe this is always the case although I agree it can certainly happen. But it is also my belief that some dogs are just born bad or wrong in the head Maybe you could explain what you meant in more laymens terms so that I can more easily

In what way matey? Could you expand a bit please?
-
Just to clear to the op, I wasn't trying to dig you out at all, just saying that's how I see it......unfortunately you don't know until the mistake happens. You can only recognise the signs in certain animals when you have seen it before.

i think part of the problem in discussing animals and dogs in particular is that we give them human thought values which is just basically wrong, serial killers and dogs compared in the same thread just exposes how much we make that link, apart from that, i come on here to learn ,ponder and enjoy this forum ,i dont discuss other folk and their experiences and their dogs, i have learnt through experience, knowledge pasted on from my father and his in turn and trial and error, and understand the laws of nature and how it works in our favor with dogs, on the other hand if someone is afraid

IMHO dogs like this should be left for their work not walked about in public amongst the common or garden dog walkers.....it's a disaster waiting to happen as can be seen. Some dogs are good at their work but that's all. Shame about your dog matey.........and a shame about the old fellas dog too.

I dont think most people mind paying their share, its when you are having the balls pulled out of ya hand over fist that folk get the bollock ache.

That silly c**t from the HMRC stood outside the court after HRs acquittal the other day made me laugh, having his "dirty Harry" moment.......who the f**k did he think he was the prick!! I think I would have been sliding out the back door if I was him! Lol

dont west ham fans get on with totnham then It's an irrational thing, can't speake for all WHU fans but those chicken chested fuckers make me puke......other than that, I am fine!! Lol lol

I am sure the general public will all sleep a lot easier in their beds knowing that they spent £10 million chasing £70 grand from Harry Redknapp and will no doubt spend millions more trying to get a few pence off folk who sell some bits and bobs on eBay!! In any other company, these people would have got the sack after the Redknapp/Mandorich debacle or they would not be allowed to start these things in the first place......but f**k it, it's only public money they are pissing away!!!
-
I would love to see Harry get it just for the pure joy of seeing those f*****g Jew b*****ds loose him......I couldn't give a shit if England never win another game, seeing the pain on the faces of the yids will be more than enough to keep me happy for years to come!!!

LAMPING DOGS FROM VEHICLES VS LAMPING DOGS ON FOOT
WILF replied to trigger2's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Can't agree with that max, if you have got 3-5 thousand acres to cover then a truck or gator is very much the order of the day Under a thousand can be walked easily, but you would do well to cover more in a night than that IMHO....... Just save some of ya thousands of acres for another night. Depends how the night turns out and bearing in mind it would have been a journey to get to any of the places that I goto that are that size, if it's slow you keep moving or you may be over and done in a few fields......you never know. You know all this already so I am not telling you an -

On some permission you have to drive, it's just to big to cover otherwise other times a walk is the order of the day.....like most things as long as you don't goon about and show some respect it's no problem either way.
