Guns or not, I don't think the gun laws should be changed but there should be an absolute right to defend your home and family with deadly force......it wouldn't do any harm for these scummers breaking in to think that there is a good chance they may not walk out.

Forget about it and leave them alone?........by the way, fair play to the old girl for giving them the mange treatment if that's what she is doing, mange is a f*****g terrible thing to see on some of those animals As for shooting, to be honest I wouldn't be letting fly rifle rounds in a suburban back garden ( if that's what it it) open ticket or not......so, you will have to catch it, take it to your permission and then shoot it. Is it really worth all that f*****g about ?.......I would personally get more pleasure just watching them

Your a better man than me, the dog would be gone I am afraid if its as bad as you make it sound. I make no apologies for that, life's too short to f**k about with nutcases if you want a useful animal.....they are better left to someone who don't mind all that. Myself, I would also not feel that good about rehoming less some idiot takes a notion to breed and repeat the whole sorry saga.

Great advice from all concerned, did you know the parents history?......what are they like? All I will say is, with the best will in the world, sometimes you end up with a crock that will never be right. You get people not right in the nut and I believe it's just the same with dogs

There should be an absolute right to put a f*****g hole in anyone who is in your house or trying to get in without a valid reason......no ifs, no buts. Sadly the person most likely to receive the most severe punishment is the homeowner.........what a twisted world we live in. The cozzers put a hole in some spade ner do well in Tottenham last year and it's lets have a riot and then spend millions on rebuilding the shitholes they live in. Don't forget too that dogs can see a lot better in the dark than we can, how many folk ( used to) rely on the dog to let them know when something is close enough in to let go the slip lead and switch the lamp back on? I constantly watch the dog when I am out, he tells me stuff and I tell him stuff.....sounds silly but that's how it works for me. A slip gives you total control over what happens and sometimes no matter how well trained an animal is, you have to do the thinking for it. Jmho -
