    The dog in question will run on any land BUT if you had two cars on your drive one a 1.0L and the other 2.5L and were planning on doing a 400 mile run on the motorway which car would you take? Without question it'd be the 2.5L and if you were popping to the shop the 1.0L would be more efficient would it not? No difference imo...yes they'd both do the job but each would be better than the other at certain tasks. Holy shit it ain't rocket science it's called COMMON sense!!! ATB Andy.

    Yep,some worthy posts lads and some real home truths thrown in there but to say one or two ain't got the bottle Bendrover may be true for some but if you've had the force of this current law layed upon you then you may have to "try" and do things a shade differently..trust me on this I KNOW!! Couldn't agree more Whin on your comment about "have a go's and the passers by"..hopefully they will swiftly move on to the next big thing and leave this game to those in the know so to speak?     If it's clueless feckwits then i agree Whin but if you have some knowledge about the game then it's a different story imo? I've been lucky enough that pre-ban i ran land which gave up numerous hares each and every season and in that i mean many hundreds!! By early January each and every year by ritual i left them at peace..the following winter the numbers were just the same if not more..i took almost the same amount every year for 20+ years until the ban came into effect..perhaps you could say i keepered the land with good effect lol .ATB Andy.

    Lurcher x Lurcher which are line bred is what they were/are..BITSA's nothing more and nothing less,there's good un's and bad un's just like with others.All this tosh about not killing on big land and being Dale dogs? What is that all about Whin? You'd have everyone believe NO other dogs can catch where you run...get in the real world matey and take off those blinkers you obviously wear?...ATB Andy.

    Not a bad result at all Moll? Dog caught his quota in unfavourable conditions so all ain't that bad? Seen and owned dogs that "do your head in" when the moons up,they often will do things that they would never do ie:hunt up etc: ..myself personally i wouldn't be too fussed about it,the dogs had a few spins and blown the cobwebs away now,i'm sure next blackweek you'll see the dog back doing everything just perfect!!
