    Had one or two similar myself over the years Jim ..dogs confiscated,motors,tagged from the minute it gets dark until it breaks light,phenomenal sized fines,banned from keeping hunting type dogs,unable to go more than a mile from my house,banned out of counties...name it and i've probably had it? Is it all fecking worth it? ATB Andy. Edited to add..that was ALL in the past..just a bunny basher now and all legit running on permission

    Cheers for the run Tomo,was glad to see Venus reach 40 last night,she has been on fire these past few trips and is running at the top of her game just now? I did kind of predict + after our last trip and if we had came across the bunnies instead of that fecking fog then i'm pretty sure we'd of been able to match you and Venus with the 40 too? Our dog Don was lucky he never killed himself twice that i seen last night once running into a heap of rubbish/wire etc: and once when he had his legs taken away by a rabbit warren lol but he never even broke stride and still caught both times lol..a real

    Whin..Jim has stated that the land he ran on was "hard and testing"..christ maybe it wasn't on your "ultimate" land but Jim has put more game to rest than most and that includes you too more than likely? so imo he knows what a test is for his dog..and all this keeping an eye out for the enemy lol..you'd have us believe that no one other than you has "crossed" the boundary fence? Sometimes it ain't about the quarry that makes it a challenging or testing it's the very land you run on?     Good couple of nights there!! Older dogs (Don & Tara) have ran a screamer to amass those and i'd be more than happy with the pups out of Don & Polly too..they seem to be showing the right signs at this stage anyway? Looking forward to having a shift with the Don dog myself in the next couple or three days? ATB Andy. Edited to add...and just for those who think that the Don dog is just a dale dog lol...where the lads went to catch these it weren't no Dales believe me...just remember LOOKS DON'T KILL!!!

    you mention jims pulling up on rabbits and the mother also?? is that because they where run early??? or was it the men at the end of the leads didnt bring them on right or could it just be the breed mate/ You know fine well mate that it can and does happen with ANY type/strain? Rest assured there will be those who disagree lol? I've been amongst lurchers a fair time and seen dozens if not hundreds of dogs jack/pull up call it what you will? I honestly couldn't say one particular type was more prone to it then any other? ATB Andy.

    I had one that was pretty much the same that Chris got,old Red..it could and did catch some real good hauls but ONLY on it's terms (when IT wanted to)..i couldn't be bolloxed with that carry on so re-homed it..frustrating as f**k because the dog could run and had an engine to match...but thats dogs for you?
