Of course we picked em and there was 21 rabbits and some more game that we aint saying out about are we Dave
It was a pleasure having you out dave,we will have a look out soon yeah
Best thread ive even seen on long netting on THL,excellent Like the look of that black net,is spun nylon mate.If you dont dye your foot line rabbits will bite through it regularly especially if theres not enough people to kill the rabbits quickly and they are sat in the net a while.
Anyway brill thread and well done
PS,when i get a foot line bitten through i simply tie the two ends back together with a figure of eight not then sort it out the next day
No that body grip probably wont catch a rabbit. They work best when set in rough grass runs, bramble thickets, under and through fences. All with wire covers over the traps of course.
Rabbits are very very wary when imerging from there sets or warrens and would shy away from a body grip set like that. For the ultimate place to have good kills with body grips you want rabbit proof fences with little tight runs going through it,deadly.
These rabbits, and an unlucky hare where taken in grass tunnel type runs.
My mate has a .22 magnum and its a great little rifle and sorts hares out at 150yds and foxes out to 100yds with accurate shot placement. Its a bit too much for rabbits though and the ammo isnt that cheap
Used to run a lot of Fenns
Just get yourself some old plastic 'ice cream' containers,.cut em down the middle,.they are ideal,.lightweight,.portable and cheap...
All the best,.and good trapping,...CHALKWARREN...
