  1. I use four strands for both hoop and bricks summer and winter and i used to use six strand all year for fences. i prefer four strand on pegged snares because when they are fully dulled off (weathered) they really are very hard to see especially when i use a painted tieler. After years of using four strand snares i find six stranded both thick and cumbersome by comparison. The only time i get a lot of brakes is on fences but i have devised a way to set four stranded on fences with vertually no brakes so its four stranded all the way for me......P@G
  2. well done trev.sorry i couldnt be there but wil get a night sorted soon mate.....P@G.......
  3. Its 91/2 from the very bottom to the very top.I make some smaller for very short grass and some longer for really long grass/corn or what ever.91/2" is a good all round size tieler.....P@G.....
  4. the good thing about usibg bricks is you can use 4 stranded wires and not worry about any brakes.I use 4 stranded wires on my hoop wires too as they give when the rabbits pull as well as the bricks.i got the fox in a wire by the way but didnt have my camara......P@G.....

  20. Ask moley who is the richest pester on this site (moley himself ) Moley taught me how to catch moley proffessionaly and about a year into trapping the way moley taught me i was setting a trap half way along a sausage run, after setting the trap i stood up grabbed my spade and heard a faint click.I pulled the trap up expecting to see a dry fire and found a mole in the trap. I also set a few traps in some tunnels in the corner of a field and after setting the last trap i checked the half dozen ide just set and caught my first and only white mole.....P@G.....
