  10. Was out at first light this morning looking for a lamp shy fox where hens had been killed.Shot these with the .222 at around 100yds.

Two or three fields into lamping and i had a fox into less than 100yds sat up like a dog for him.Foxey asked which eye did i want it shot in,left i said.BANG! UNBELIEVABLE!   15. This buck was taken last night a couple of miles from my house on a half cut wheat field.I took him at about 200yds through the hart. Then me and pete went to a farm where the farmers sons hens had been killed by a fox.I took these two foxes out of two stubble fields near the farmers hen house!

  17. Quiet nights this time of year only needs a mouse type squeek to get the foxes flying in Cilli.Ime out again toight,ive just been on my rounds and see that the combines are really busy on the wheat fields (i wonder what Petes doing tonight) :11:
  18. 95% of the time i use my lips or hand (no sarcy comments please) Chilli.But if they are way out or its windy i will use the aussie Whistle.I think that you only just want enough sound,too much noise can sometimes puts them off,especially older foxes And yes i do alter the sound, pitch and volume Chilli.

What a couple of days !First i reversed my landy into a lamp post and smashed the back door in,had to replace it .Then me and pete arrived on some land 15miles up the road and i realised ide left my bolts for the 243 and 22!! :whistle: After going back for the bolts we got lamping then ten minutes later i braid my head off the door frame and saw stars,f*****g big lump on me head!! Still,it was worth it
