  1. HW77 in 177 calibre. It was tuned by a chap called pro-tune for £70 and worth every penny
  2. With pigeong becoming used to magnets try what ive been doing and put two magnets out and watch the results.Ive even tried three and we shot just short of 100 woodies that day.Mind you i still like a day with the plain pattern of dead birds but theres no getting away from the fact that during the winter months i shoot alot more woodies using magnets than i do without magnets
  3. You must have ran out of deer and fox have you Foxhunter.??????? :11: :11:
  4. Get it bought ian.King,Whats a pidgeon??Is it a cross between a pigeon and a partridge :11: No,just jopking.A p.magnet is a electricly powered device which spinns two 4-5 foot long, thin steel arms with two dead(decoy) pigeons on each end.Its used for decoying on green rape alot because it adds movement to the decoy pattern
  5. Ian,if your good i will take you out and teach you how to use a shotgun properly on some really good ground
  6. How do you know the birds wouldnt of decoyed without it Dave????
  7. Cant you afford a decent bipod Dave :11:
  8. They are ok Ian but your better with a pigeon magnet.I know a man who makes them for £ and they excellent
  9. Moley, you will get your copy for a review.A dam site quicker than i got mine off you may i add.As will that Woodga character and old waters.
  10. You will get all the info you need when my new Vid comes out shortly."COUNTRY PURSUITS"Two and a half hours of ALL aspects of country trapping as well as goose shooting, pigeon shooting, deer stalking, fox shooting, rabbit shooting and much more I thought it was Fisher he was trapping Moley?
  11. I can show you a tree set using four felt nails and two four inch nails. This set is sited on the trunks of trees. This set will kill every Squirrel in the wood using sweat corn cobs as bait. The best thing about this set is when you make a catch the squirrel is left three to four feet from the actual trap site. This enables other squirrels to feed after a catch and every strike is a guaranteed kill..
  12. Totaly agree with you croc.I was in basc and got into abit of trouble with my shot gun cert. When i got on to them b*****ds they wouldnt do a f*****g thing....I had to sort it on my own.wankers.Ime now in the N.G.O
  13. Yes,too big and far too expensive.Does exactly the same job as a bodygrip in a tunnel.
  14. If your lamping then theres no comparison,it has to be the .22 mate
  15. I would go for a .22 Bruno or even better a Sako which is what ive got.A 4x40 or 3-9x40 Nikko Sterling scope will be more than good enough for what you need. .22 Rimfire ammo is very cheap,£26 for 500.17 ammo is not cheap so that question answers itself
  16. f**k me,they are some size stags Foxdropper.A cat is a totaly different kettle of fish to any dog although i do agree that a well placed shot of an expert (like me) with a .222 would do the trick
  17. I find it hard to believe that these people are giving the general public advice on snaring codes and not a single one of them have ever set a snare, and if they have ide like to have seen it. To me these arseholes mirror all authoritys in general, people who know f**k all and get paid big wages for knowing f**k all.WANKERS!!!!!!!
  18. All the magpies around my area roost in Hawthorns almost without fail.Look for a decent stand of thorns on road sides or around edges of woods. Then get under them and look for there shite on the floor and on the branches above you. This time of year you are likely to find decent numbers roosting together.1/4-1/2 moon, plenty wind and you will bag plenty birds with an odd pheasant for dinner
