    Today was abit more interesting.I watched a flight line passing over a grass field and into a swathed rape field.I decided to set up on the grass field and it payed off with three hours of good sport.

    Good idea with tape but unecassary,just half hitch your snare on tightly then rap your snare tail around the leg of the hoop.Theres no way it will slip if hitched on properly Maty J. Always hitch your snare on from the side of the hoop!!!!!

    Ive been up to Woodgas tonight with my mate Ian.On my way home from Woodgas we saw a brace of foxes on some newly cut hay.After a quick cupa we went back for grey dark to sit for them. Ian used his 223 and shot the foxes between and 150 yds!!!!! Would Moley please note the smile(at last )

    Its all about practise Leon.Ive been snaring since i was nine and was taught off an old keeper who was a shit hot rabbit snarer.Then i met G.S.Waters 15 years ago and the rest is history.For 15 years there was hardly a week that i wasnt snaring rabbits some where!!!!

    Thats his "chuffed to bits" face Moley I think i was more pleased than he was.I filmed it all as well so thats even better for him.BRILL!!!!!!!! He shot his first fox a couple of weeks ago and i filmed that as well,lucky swine

    Ive had a 89 out 100 pegged wires and loads more 80s,countless 70s and 60s! When i took the 89 out of the 100 wires i only had one other wire knocked. "KEEP YOUR WIRES UP LADS"

    Totaly agrea baldie! Only a man with little experience would shoot foxes with 5s and 6s. Maximum BBs,No1s are excellent out to 40yds.Ive tried SSGs and SGs Deerstalker,and found that the pattern is way too thin at anything over 20yds to consistently hit foxes in a critical areas.In my opinion the ultimate fox cartridge is a 36gram,maximum BB cartridge shot out of 3/4 and full choked barrels!!!

    Me and my mate Ian have been busy this week rebuilding my landrover.We renewed my engine,gearbox,bulkhead,suspension,wings,bonnet,doors etc. For a treat after a very busy week i took Ian for his first Roe buck last night. After a half hour stalk we stood glassing a wood edge.I looked back where we had just stalked and saw a young buck walk slowly out of the wood.Ian took the 135yd shot off the stalking sticks and shot his buck with a perfect shot! He was chuffed to bits!!!!!
