    Foxey is telling the truth.I was out with him one night and he wasnt sure of a clean kill so he shot all around it withiout hurting the fox at all. :11: :11: About 70yds wasnt it foxey :11: :11: :11:

    Ive been seeing two little egrets on a pond where ive intraduced alot of Roach,dace,perch and trout.I was just wondering if anyone else has sighted any of these little birds lately??

    Just a suggestion mate Good quality hemp or spun nylon nets really make the difference when working in cover

    Top quality Jordon That set up would work as well as any but i would like to see the guy who can push those tree stumps onto even mildly hard ground. :11: Get yourself some fibre glass poles

    You can pick a new .22 Sako Finfire up for about £450.Shockingly accurate and lovely to shoot. To be honest you dont really need an expensive scope on a .22 rimfire.Theres no kick what so ever.A little Tasco or Nikko Sterling is all you need

    Right on there johny.But if you turned the tables round a mink wouldnt enter to a ferret in a blank end iether.I do think that a dog mink would be too much for a ferret though

    Its sometimes the stench of the musk glands that put dogs of killing mustalids. I agree with Millet,a ferret is alot tougher animal than people might think.A stoat would give too much size and waight away..

    Get shot of the ferrets and buy some snares,then you dont need to worry about permission. Get on to Moley or Woodga,they have brilliant ferreting land and are only too happy to take you yougsters out and show you the ropes (mind you moley will probably try and charge you,tight twat!!) :11:

    173 ferreting with long nets and seven ferrets.314 with .22 and quad.74 winter rabbits with a air rifle.178 with snares.141 with long nets at night,68 in one net in one drop(my record).111 with two lurchers lamping.74 with one lurcher lamping. Me and peterthebeater where out a few weeks ago with the .22 and shot over 100 rabbits out of half a dozen fields in an hours lamping.I got sick and packed in but peter loved it and wanted to keep killing,infact if ide let him he would still be there now :11: No wonder ime sick of rabbiting

    Ive bolted Stoats,weasels and mink many times when i was a keen ferreter and ive never ounce had any of them stand their ground,they cant afford to get injured in any way. What where you ferreting in the summer for anyway Kiwi,cruel thing :11: :11:

    Theres 100s of very good second hand shot guns for under £500 in gun shops country wide.Ive settled with a Franchi which was £700 new.There was the same gun for £495. second hand in York guns a few months ago.

    DEFRA said this and DEFRA said that.That DEFRA lot are a bunch of pricks.The experts they have on trapping and snaring know f**k all about traps or snares.I cant see them Knowing f**k all about Beavers iether.They really get up my f*****g nose,wankers!!!! As far as them doing damage,they where once a part of this countryside just like the fox and badger.Besides,we do more damage to our environment in one day than 100 beavers would do in a lifetime. BRING THE BEAVER BACK :yahoo

    When shes due,keep her kennel linned with news papers,draft proof and a heat lamp is a good idea at this time of year.Then leave her too it and pop your head in ounce in a while just to make sure shes ok
