  1. Those Jubys and Imbras are shite and i speak from experience
  2. My advice is to get shot of em and buy some bodygrips.Fenns do kill rats but 116 bodygrips are better and you can also kill rabbits and mink stone dead with em. Fenn mk6s are good for trapping mink in pocket sets if you fit drownding wires to them, but again the bodygrips are better
  3. Keep the youngen right Mistwalker
  4. Ive never heard of smoking foxes out.In alot of places the fox sets would be far too deep.If you try it let me know how you get on
  5. I could have told him that Foxdropper :11:
  6. It depends on how much you know about rabbit snares rabbitrunner??.Theres very few people in the snaring world who wont learn something off Woodgas DVD.A average snarer could without doubt improve there snare to kill ratio after viewing This DVD
  7. Why would he but it when he can buy it Rob :11:
  8. Woodgas method is Glenns method and glenns method is Andy whittes method. You see, theres very little new comes out on snaring or trapping.Just bad snarers, good snarers and brilliant snarers,Glenn and Woodga are Brilliant snarers P.S,Moley is a shite snarer :11:
  9. All that "being quiet talk" is a load of shite.Ive ferreted for 27 years and shot over ferrets with shot guns for 15years.Ive sneaked up to burrows and put nets on and long nets around and the rabbits wouldnt bolt.On other days they bolted no problem. Ive also chassed rabbits into holes with terriers and lurchers.Walked all over the set,put a ferret in and bang, out the rabbits come like steam trains.Ive shot 1000s over the ferrets with 12 bores and the rabbits still bolt no problem. The only thing i can say is that hard frost and snow gave me the most problems when it came to rabbits bolting
  10. Everyone can hoop snare(except moley),just some are better than others. Take 40" of 3mm fencing wire.Bend it over a six inch piece of plastic pipe.Push that into the ground iether side of a small rabbit beat and set a 24", four or six strand snare in the hoop about 51/2" off the ground.Use a 71/2"x51/2" snare loop and set the loop so the top of the snare is just touching the top of your wire hoop.
  11. Probably wouldnt get it pockets
  12. Cant comment on that baldie, you are much more up to date on air rifles than me
  13. Criminal record is a big factor. You dont need land but if you want to hunt with it then you have to put some land down somewhere. You dont need land if you join a rifle club.It costs about £50 for five years and then another £26 for every gun you put onto your license
  14. Now then Chris.I bought a new 77 two years ago.I had it tuned as well.It doesnt make it anymore powerful but its more accurate, smoother, less recoil and quieter. After going onto a .20 calibre many years ago i then tried a .177 and found that it really does out shoot the .22s on vermin no problem. The secret to killing cleanly with an air rifle isnt power, its accuracy and the 77 is mega accurate I told Moley the same thing a few years ago and he was to say the least abit sceptic until i took him out with the 177 HW77.That same week Moley went out and bought a HW97 in 177 calibre. He went for the
  15. Nice set up Dave .Have you had much with it????
  16. If the net is set up on fibre glass poles and tied in every two yards or so then its worth buying. Is it 4Z or 6Z??.If its just the net on its own then look else where for a cheaper net
  17. I had a HW77 in .20 calibre years ago and it was the best air rifle i ever owned. They really do hit hard and fly flat.I killed 1000s of rabbits with that rifle over the five years or so i had it
