Unless you've got something worth stealing in the garden it's the house you need to protect, no one wants the scroats in your garden but the break in to the home is the one to guard against. Make sure you have a secure access to the house if possible gates fence etc, security flood lighting is cheap and effective. Make sure you have good locks on all ground floor doors and windows, take a look outside think to yourself how would I look to get in and that's the point you need to strengthen, remember they don't want to get caught so have an alarm installed, if you've already got one USE
  2. Just got in from seeing Madness live at the Sheffield Arena, I've seen hundreds of bands in the past and I've got to say they were feckin awesome. Anyone else seen them?
  3. If you can ignore the bad accent and thmusic this is a good video on stripping it down and cleaning
  4. I think he did some covert stuff for military intelligence during the war I read somewhere RIP Patrick
  5. Have you stripped them down? If you strip them, clean them and wind the spring up there usually as good as new.
  6. He's a very naughty boy
  7. Terrible news God bless her RIP
  8. Probably a PR mission they'd rather be seen to do the right thing then be told they have to do the right thing, who knows
  9. starbucks arnt buggering off ,and are in talks to pay more tax that they dont need to pay ,makes ye think dun it? Yes but they are employing I would say around 4000 people (that's a guess) who are all paying taxes and are in employment, forget about the coffee would you rather they weren't there and these people were out of work? The fact that they haven't paid corporate tax isn't illegal it's a loop hole, i would suggest probably designed and left that way in the to encourage large organisations over here in the 1st place. They are going to change their rules and the loop hole will be
  10. your joking right?? theirs no safety net, well there wasn't for me, I was made redundant in April 2009, i'd normally pay £185 tax and ni a week as i worked all the hours i could get, I used to sit reading all this bullshit in papers about the none working and how much money they got bla bla bla, now i new then it was going to be a struggle to get a job, but me being a mug sucked all that shit up in papers, thinking oh , £65 pound a week rent and every thing paid for we'l be ok.. lol how f*****g wrong was i, the c**ts only gave me £11:23 a week, and you know the shit they said about why i was
  11. It's a sad truth that there are many many people who live in the UK who not only have decided to live on benifits but think it is an acceptable way of life, this isn't just a "modern generation" we are in some instances 3 generations down the line having the same mentality. "you try surviving on £70.00 a week" is the usual argument of people who choose the way of life but it isn't is it? it's child benifits it's disability living allowence, its working tax credits, its council tax allowance its subsidised rent etc etc the people living this way of life milk the system for all it's worth.
  12. Agree with the comments above take the advice dont by a Hatsan. Beretta, Benelli, Winchester would be my choice
  13. Cameron CAN'T overturn the ban; as it would need a free vote in parliament, and as the Tories don't have a majority and depend on the LibDems backing, he could never get a majority vote, as the LibDems would vote with Labour to defeat the motion, in other words, keep the ban ! Cheers. Totally agree, it was labour who introduced the ban after being funded by animal rights organisations this was the promise they made in return for the funding. The handgun ban was also a labour initiative, the Tories passed a bill to tighten up hand gun control following Dunblane three months later in
  14. Didn't the Tories also say they were going to look at stopping uncontrolled immigration when they were in opposition? Didn't the Tories also say they were going to look at stopping uncontrolled immigration when they were in opposition? Funny you should say that today in the newspaper UK immigration is down by 25% the biggest fall in 4 years So if that anything to go by maybe they are I just known for certain Labour are responsible for the sh*t state this country is in both immigration and financially and they should be banned from controlling this countrys affairs for a long
  15. Unfortunately the towns like Rotherham will never change from being a blinkered Labour constituency. They could put a corpse in s suit but if it stood for labour it would get elected. "were working class so we HAVE to vote labour" No your working class and you SHOULD vote for the party that is going to change your life for the better The Labour representative who won said the UKIP vote was a shot across the bow for the Tories and if labour came to power they would address immigration. I kid you not you could not make this sh*t up, the party who held the doors wide open for immigration
  16. Is the land you shoot on passed for centrefire? If not you will need land that is passed for centre fire to be ale to apply for that calibre. Also if there isn't any deer on the land I doubt they will grant you a condition for deer. It's all about the NEED when discussing centrefires. The police view is if you haven't got land to shoot it on why do you need it, if you have land to shoot it but there are no deer on the land why give you the condition for deer, it's that simple. You could get round point two by stating you want to use the centrefire for deer stalking by payment or in
  17. We see plenty of the aftermath and very little of what went on before to make a judgement, the dog does look like it was about to attack the copper before it was shot so maybe there was little to be done
  18. The gu in the pool certainly drew mud.. I can't for the life of me every think when I needed to turn a mix out in the super market aisle though.
  19. Agree with AR177 providing you keep the, clean from gunk then they are just as reliable as a bolt action. The only time mine will jam is when the spent bullet case does not eject from the barrel this is due to a build up of wax from the .22 subs, keep it fairly clean and you can fire of plenty of rounds without a hitch. It's accurate, VERY quiet with aparker hale mod and a recoil damper fitted. Excellent bunny gun
