  1. Jimmy Saville would probably have liked it "me.....in a lift.......with a young lady ghost......, with my reputation what were they thinking of?"
  2. Yes got the very same rifle in .223, it's very good, Hornady Vmax is my preferred choice for Raynard. I like the easy load magazines they just clip onto the bottom lip and my rifle came with two mags.
  3. I love my 10/22 but one criticism is the trigger, to be honest the standard trigger is rubbish, i have been meaning to sort this out for some time and today I spent a couple of hours after watching the videos I gave it a go. Following my work on on it the trigger has gone from around a 7lb pull to approx 2.5lb pull with a nice smooth creep. I am VERY happy with it. I didn't want to over do it so I split it down worked on it, reassembled and then did it all over again (four times) in small stages until I reached the correct trigger pull I wanted. DO NOT TRY THIS IF YOU ARE NOT A COM
  4. In the scheme of things I know fek all about professional boxing, I'm just a punter who like to watch it. To me anyone with the balls to get in a ring and trade real punches with another boxer has my respect.
  5. Sbs did do the recon in 1982 check out south atlantic memoral site how many special forces lads lost their lives and the sbs went in by sea sub aqaua style , Yes they certainly were there it's several years ago since I read it but I rember him being critical saying they were tasked with the landing and securing the beach whilst the SAS went off and did the recon, he gave the impression they were supporting the SAS and he wasn't too happy about it as he believed it was a SBS operation and the SAS always forced their way into the OP's with full backing from the top brass, following th
  6. It's always confused me a bit the defining line between the two regiments? Obviously the SAS are predominantly an Army Regiment and the SBS are within the RMs I believe, yet the SAS have boat troops and the SBS have seen plenty of non amphibious action in Afghanistan for instance. Confusing me still we now have two more special forces regiments, the Special Reconnaissance Regiment and the Special Forces Support Group. I understand the SFSG are just taking on the speacialist role the RMs and Paras etc used to do but surely the SRR are just doing what the SAS do in intelligence gathering? Wh
  7. There is no reason they can't take a copy if this is the form of ID you have chosen to give them, most people would chose to give a driving licence or passport which is copied and kept in your personnel file. This is perfectly normal in any businesses. If you are not happy with them copying your SGC give them an alternative. If THEY are insisting on your SGC then I would want to ask why this document is significant to them.
  8. If anyone is interested there is a good read Black Water by Don Camsell about his time in the SBS Really interesting however I remember he came across slightly bitter about the glory the SAS got, he wasn't happy that the SAS lads were chosen to do the recon work on the Falklands instead of them for example as it was a marine type landing op. Either way all UK Special forces are the best in the world IMO
  9. ask PIL he was dealing with that mate Hi fellas , I can't tell you how much was donated via cash, cheques or paypal because I never opened any of the envelopes I just sent them on . If you guy's would like I could ask the question ? But I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it , let me know .Regards Nope curiosity isn't worth asking uncomfortable questions or making someone feel like a charity case. We did what we could and lets hope it helps in a small way...obviously its no consolation to their loss. Sorry meant to reply to this earlier Nik B says it exactly how it is and is sp

  13. Labour stopped being the party for the working man decades ago, anyone putting a cross in the box for this party needs to have a chat with themselves, this is the party that sponsored by the League Against Cruel Sports drove through the hunting ban, this is the party following the tightening of restrictions for hand gun ownership following by the Tories 3 months later after coming to power over wrote the initial ruling and enforced a complete and total ban of handguns. This is the party under the financial control of Gordon Brown sold half our countrys gold reserves for half of the value of w
