  1. Yes. From the perspective of sorting out the wheat from the chaff..............or perhaps 'chav' would be more appropriate? To be completely honest, I reckon this section of the forum would be better entitled 'The Thieving Twat & Tosser Section'.........all I've heard is boasts by assholes (who keep their identities conveniently hidden) about breaking the law. And they seem proud of it? I'll tell you something guys, you need to get your f*****g act together, because there'll come a day when the result of your 'couldn't give a shit' attitude will prevent anyone from any form of fieldspo
  2. Yep! I remember taking a pair to the local vet for distemper jabs, & they had the bloody cheek to charge £56 for the jabs, even though the distemper vaccine in the UK isn't licensed for ferrets................she was supposed to be the 'ferret specialist' of the practice, but still managed to get a bite from each of them due to the gash way she treated them. Paid the bill, but told her in no uncertain terms that I was disgusted with her attitude and the cost.
  3. I've really managed to rile some of you boys, haven't I? My original comment was supposed to be taken as light-hearted, but it seemed to strike a nerve with some of you & I thought I'd just give the pot a wee stir to see just how many members actually are quite stupid.................... Quite a few more than I'd imagined, it seems
  4. It might be a subcutaneous cyst? Just a guess though, but if he's otherwise healthy & eating ok then it's unlikelt to be anything too serious. As (nearly)everyone else has said though, I'd get him to the vet! Even if it is just a cyst, it doesn't necessarily mean you can leave it. There's always the potential for it to abscess, especially if he ruptures it
  5. I'm not going to bang on about it anymore, I promise! I'm just going to sit back & enjoy a sense of quiet satisfaction that I've successfully managed to irritate the tits off so many of you with practically no effort at all That was fun.....................................what's next?
  6. That's not a bad idea at all!!! Mine get whole rabbit, and pheasant & pigeon carcasses a few times a week, & I find they drag them all over the place. Apart from spreading bacteria around the court, there's the chance that ingested shavings might cause the ferts some discomfort. I reckon I'll give that idea a bit of thought & see what I can come up with! As for feeding ferts dog or cat food? They don't contain enough animal protein for them to thrive on it. Ferts needs at least 35% animal protein, & most cat & dog food have nowhere near this percentage. To compound
  7. Aye...............another 'no profile info', 'no location', etc poster Seems to be a helluva lot of them around, all happily-prepared to talk shite about stuff they probably know nothing about. Or happily-prepared to admit to all sorts of thievery & behaviour that any decent person would be ashamed to admit to. Bit like blanking out the faces of the wee tossers on 'Car Wars', isn't it?
  8. If you read through the posts, you'll soon see I've 'assumed' nothing
  9. I've already made my point about 'thieving', 'poaching', criminal behaviour', etc.............so adding anything else would clearly be falling on deaf ears. Like I said, 'carry on son'
  10. Aye, whatever.................carry on, son
  11. Perhaps............but unlike some, I don't take pride in broadcasting it Sorry you don't agree, but I loathe poachers with a vengeance. They've absolutely no right to be where they are, no right to be taking property that doesn't belong to them, and have the stupidity & contempt for the law to attempt to glorify their actions. As far as ferreting at night's concerned? I really don't see the point. If you need to control rabbits, and have the permissions & necessary tools, then there are far better ways of doing it. If you're just after a bit of thieving, then like I say
  12. The circuit's physically pretty simple. The problem is in identifyng the IC chips as Deben very kindly scrape of the serial numbers so you can't ID them
  13. Sorry, but I just don't agree in the least. Apart from the fact that it's a criminal activity in itself, poachers are responsible for more damage & inconvenience than anyone realises. The old romantic 'one for the pot' view of a poacher is only held by the deliberately uninformed or ignorant. Blacktabs? You 'resist' those 'little sets' by reminding yourself that you don't have permission for them! If you've asked, & it's been refused, then obviously a reason exists & you'd do well to remember that. If you haven't even had the common decency to ask permission in the first place,
  14. Has the collar snapped close to the transmitter? Or could you maybe get away with stitching it back together? Mind you, if the rest of the collar's worn through, you'd be as well replacing it right enough. I imagine you'll need to cut the collar off close to the transmitter mate? I can't imagine you'll be able to unpick the sealant with any great ease. As for replacing it? It might be a bit tricky, but if it were me, I'd use silicon to bond the transmitter onto the surface of the collar, & try tightly securing it with insulating tape? The danger is though, if it gets damp (which i
  15. You mean you used to 'thieve', in other words? And you've got the f*cking brass to call me an 'eejit'
  16. Nope...............if you're ferreting at night, it's obviously because you've something to hide, so your opinions don't mean more than a flying fart in a gale to me
  17. Kit now gone! Thanks to all who Pm'd. Sorry, but too many responses to reply to everyone
  18. C'mon then, son...........impart some 'wisdom'
  19. F*ck off, you idiot! A poachers opinion's worth jack shit
  20. Ferreting at night? Never heard such bollocks! Why do you think pubs were invented?
  21. Give it up as lost..................and make sure the next one's on properly
  22. You f*cking idiot! Stay away from anything with a pulse
  23. Respect for the facetiousness mate, but I reckon you've spectacularly missed my point? How many versions of 'Coca Cola' have you seen....................?
  24. I've got two MKI's.................one still boxed with original instructions. Three collars. One standard, two micro's. PM me with offers if interested
