Lurchandhistribe's post is a great illustration as to exactly why I keep bumping this thread.............how many times do we hear of people (even those in positions of trust & authority) being convicted of heinous & despicable crimes such as the one we're reading of? The penalties on conviction need to be far, far more severe than they are at present, and it's only by making as much noise as possible that this is ever going to change. Mk4s would probably be a lot easier if you want a quick fix, mate? Or get some bait blocks wired down? If used properly (i.e: wired into place, checked regularly, & replenished) they should begin to have an effect on the problem within a few days

Nice response to someone who's made a bit of an effort with their post mate My view is, if you're going to keep an animal that needs to be carefully-managed, then you need to do just that! 'Manage' them. If you can't be arsed, or just have the view that you'll cull out the ones you don't want or need, then you shouldn't be keeping them in the first place..............why not just tag along & carry the bag of someone who really knows & cares about the animals they choose to keep? Not really mate. If she's imminent though, she'll be going daft nesting. Bit early for that though, I would've thought? I guess you must have reason to think they've been kept paired-up? If the hob's entire there's a chance he's had a go at her already (I reckon he's unlikely to have been vas'd if the wanker who owned them has just dumped them on you) If the jill's receptive, he'll be doing his nut in trying to get to her, & won't give her peace.
