  1. alrite mate,i would seperate the jills (but i do belive some people wouldnt) put plenty of food in and not go near for the first couple of days.iv had 2 litters at the min.one two days old and the other is 6.i will go into the week old ones tomorow just to clean the jills mess up and that but i woant go near the kits until they leave the nest but i would definitly seperate them.atb with your kits
  2. no iv never had a blind ferret as i wouldnt have room for a blind ferret but its nice that you have kept it and looking after it.but as said before...the market is over run with healthy strong ferrets....you dont want to breed something that mite be a defect.atb
  3. i dont think i would mate incase she passes it on to her kits but dont take my word for it as i really dont no,id put a snipped hob over her to bring her out of season.i would only breed of your strongest fittest proven stock.atb ferreter.al

  7. 14!!thats a huge litter mate.i had a quick peek in at my first litter of the year this morning that my polecat type jill had two days ago.there was only 3!!expected quite a few more than that.got two more pregnant jills thow so shouldnt be short of kits.atb with your litter
  8. if its only 8-9 weeks id keep it in the house in a cadge for a couple of weeks (but theres loads of people that wouldnt)atb
  9. i think they will be fine mate,it shouldnt really change their personalitly at all because they have only had snip but i wouldnt keep two hobs with balls together,dont they fite during breeding season?
  10. they are good rabbit dogs and good for ferreting,just can be a little bit soft and easily hurt,alb with yours.

  13. i would get her on her own so she can get comfortable redy to have her kits.mine polecat jill is due today but iv been out this morning to sort the others out and had a listen but nothing yet,she must of herd me chatting away to the others because she came out to see me.iv moved her cadge away so im not walking past her all the time to get to the others.atvb
  14. you can subscribe and the send it streght to you although it isnt that good,still worth a read thow,i was disapointed to see the same article in twice in the space of 2-3 weeks just with different pics,are the scrapin the barrel for stories that much that they have to use the same article twice,apart from that...worth a read

  17. like u say..... new one to me mate,maybe it ate the pupa??you wouldnt of thought it would hatch out inside thow?would it?
