ALL of these scum come from council estates and have thirty kids that they dont look after until they are old enough to start robbing not all scum come from council estates rat killer think you will find lot of decent guys on here from council estates theres good and bad everywhere mate Well said!
  2. Thanks for all the suggestions. How would you know if it was blight? The spuds are all ok so far. Just the stems and leaves are a bit ropey?
  3. Thanks for that. I'm lifting a load every day - nothing quite like soil to plate in less than an hour!
  4. Why would you call them out to let a pigeon out of a front room!!! ..........or shovel a stiff cat from behind a shed? They must have too much money and not a lot of sense in London? Can't wait to see if anyone complains about the slaughter of rats, squirrels and bed bugs live on tv before 9pm! What about Charlie the rat killer?
  5. The leaves and stems of my potato plants (maris pipers)went very yellow quickly. I have started lifting the spuds now and there is quite a reasonable crop, they taste great too. I was wondering is this just what happens or might it be due to the weather, we have had plenty of rain, or lack of nutrients etc? I thought if the leaves and stems were more thriving, the spuds would keep getting bigger but the stems are so wilted that i don't believe there was any point in keeping them going? This is my second year growing them, I also grew sharpes express spuds but i thought the skins tasted
  6. If that reply is aimed at my post above, read again. Demanding a dog to sit and wait teaches them to show respect, not thier teeth, when food is about. It is a simple method that can be used everyday to encourage a dog to develop manners that will stand it in good stead in life, especially if life involves coming into contact with children, as the original posters obviously does. I did not speak out against scruffing a dog, i said that it does not need to be violent to be effective..........my terriers often feel the grip and are no worse off for it.
  7. I feel it is important to be able to take a dog's food/toys etc away. My terriers sometimes skirmish between themselves over food but i would be horrified if they ever growled at me. I feel scruffing does not need to be violent but a sharp verbal at the dog when necessary soon puts them in their place. It might be a good idea to train your dog to sit and wait until the bowl is set down and then give it permission to eat. This would involve reinforcing obedience(sit and leave), but no harm in that. The dog should respect you and best to sort it while it is young. Good luck.
  8. Some nice fish there. Isn't it amazing the number of people who keep fish? Nature up close in your living room! Does anyone keep pond fish?

  10. got six picking them up saturday Good luck with this lot mate.
  11. One of my dogs used to damage his several times every year. I had them removed (£70) and after a few weeks he was back in action and never looked back. It might be worth considering if your dog is prone to this problem.
  12. I still want to know what 'full saddle' means and why that makes it dearer?
  13. Nice healthy looking pups. What does 'full saddle' mean? Does price negotiable mean he is cheaper or dearer than the others at £200? Are they docked?
  14. I found this with my dogs. I changed to BARF and their skin became so much healthier.
  15. News travels fast. Maybe now the caravaners will make more of an effort to keep their dogs under control.
  16. I disagree to some extent Kay . . . . my dogs are always out and about with me, especially when i'm out photographing the hunt. They get left in the car and are more than happy, the boot has a huge cage and they will happily snooze in there whilst i go about my business, they love being out with me. That said it's common sense isn't it, if they happen to be with me in this heat, which is very rare . . . i open the boot and have a padlock on the cage, bowl of water , the car is always parked in shade and i never leave them long. Like anything there will always be the idiots that exploi
