  1. Wow!!! Doubled their weight in four days........is that normal? Good luck with them.
  2. Hope they are able to get to grips and get it nipped in the bud............Iv'e seen it so many times before - people fail to put the work in and train their dogs properly and then start to make all sorts of excuses for it........ If they are serious about it, maybe training with a good dog club might help......but then again, it only works if they are prepared to put the work in. Good luck to them.
  3. Good luck with your dog, whatever you decide to get. Put the work into it and enjoy it.
  4. Good luck wth your new dogs. Keep us updated on how they progress.
  5. So you dont think a poodle could add anything to the mix? 1/8 th poodle? Would it make a really noticable impact? Standard poodles without the coat look athletic and a bit similar to the physique of pointer types?
  6. Any pictres of pup or parents? Has it been jabbed or wormed? What size do you think it will be when grown?

SNAP!!!! Frankie. The first fish i bought over 20 years ago was a group of black widows. One of them lived for years!!! It survived numerous outbreaks of whitespot, being terrorised by angel fish who laid eggs, heater and air pump break downs etc. In the end it seemed to have lost its bottom jaw but still swam along scooping the flakes from the surface. I still have a soft spot for them, but my favorite tropicals have to be clown loaches ive got a white goldfish that i won from a circus when i was 4 im 16 now and the things still alive its living in my mothers pond Richard
  9. I would wonder if the dog has been treated like a real dog and trained to know his place since he was a tiny wee pup? Maybe he hasn't and now he is turning adolescent and he is too big for his boots because he hasnd't had firm boundaries. Letting the dog balls about and then throwing it in its cage might not be teaching it the right lesson at the right time. It might be worth taking it to a dog socialising/training class if it is to be a good pet. Sounds like a scary situation to have a dog that bites like that. Maybe it would help to keep it on a lead in the house and practise a few time

Just a tip to make keeping your freshwater fish easier - go to your aquarium shop and buy a lump of tufa rock and set it in your tank. It stabilizes the ph and makes the conditions so much better for your fish. I am quite lazy at tank maintainance - i have a 4 foot tank with undergravel filters, every 2-3 months i empty a couple of buckets out and fill up again.........but.... this is balanced by not overfeeding or fussing at the tank. I feed 2-3 times per week with good quality Aquarian fish food. The fish - a mix of congo tetras, loaches, goldfish and very importantly..........an ancistus
  14. The safest option may be to travel in cages, completely separate. I would say that a dog in full rage mode would not register the spray from one of these collars. And scrapping dogs in a car does not bode for a safe journey for anyone.......?
  15. Now, if a lot of folks would not pay £5, what is the chance of them paying £50? It will be like the TV license in certain areas...........
  16. But that ban was not a stupid idea.
  17. Now then, if you can acomplish all that in a week and a half............imagine what you could accomplish in one month! He could have been the winner of the lamping competition! Hope he gets a good home.
  18. That is shocking but so common place now. The police may not want to know if only dogs were injured, but produce a coat/sweater with some tear marks in it and they may take notice! Before any halfwit starts calling you a 'grass', look upon it as taking responsibilty when the stain who owns the dangerous dog hasn't the brains to.
  19. whats it got to do with you . why should he give them away , your acting silly , the other pups he doesnt keep are not worthless or just left overs to give away THEY ARE BLOODY LIVES and they are intitled to a good one ! if i bred a dog and kept a pup back i would sell the others , it would cover my pups injections , the food for the dogs , the new bed for the pup the lead and collar it will need and various other things , your basically meaning feck the dogs by saying give them away not f**k the money . this litter is only being breed wrong if he doesnt keep a pup back and hes just
  20. Is anyone else fed up with reading this crap week in -week out? It sounds like the last thing this girl needed was a dog. Do everyone a favour and give it to a good home and buy your kids some stuffed cuddly toys - best solution to your problem.
  21. Any pictures of parents? What breeding is in the parents? What size do you think they will turn out?
  22. bastewards! bet you was sick mate. too true. Had chicks in the nest just left, and the ones they couldn't take were flying round in the trees in the garden. managed to trap a couple but lost loads...... since then not had any birds Is it any wonder these characters are not popular?
  23. If they are causing problems for YOUR dog, never mind what the books say, get them off. Simple operation and problem solved. My dog's were taken off for £ two years ago.....out of action for a few weeks then no problems since.
  24. Always carry bags to clean up your dogs mess............that will keep you out of trouble with the council and your neighbours.
