  1. Nice pics. There must be enough good ones on here to rival John Craven's Countryfile calendar!
  2. That sounds scary. You could try reinforcing his control on a longline in a park where there would be distractions but you still have hold of him should he decide to bolt.
  3. Good luck with the move. Hope it all works out well.
  4. How long have you had the dog?
  5. Is this for real or a wind up? Neopolitan what.......mastiff? What would that look like and what would it be useful for?
  6. Perfectly, thank you. The thread is about ACD and kelpies - FACT.
  7. That looks a good job. Did you make some sort of drain to facilitate hosing out etc?
  8. like i said just my opinion they are crap to look at wouldnt have one for free thats why i said each to there own and just my opinion thats why the post on the page to agree or disagree with coments or pics ankle biters "THEY ARE CRAP TO LOOK AT" well that one statment , tells the rest of us on this site all we need to know about you. IF THOMPSONS DOGS DONT FANCY THE SHAPE OF SUCH BRED DOGS HES ENTITLED 2 HIS OPINION LADS. I NEVER FANCIED THEM EITHER & I GAVE MY REASONS WHY ALSO. I OWNED REARED & COMPETED IN OBEDIENCE COMPETITIONS WITH MY BITCH PIP & CAME 3RD
  9. Are you anywhere near Luton or Borehamwood? I'm due to fly to Luton in the morning.
  10. And now for a quote I've heard - "Don't listen to old wives' tales".
  11. Smashing looking pups. How much are you looking for them? What size do you think they will be? Any pics of parents?
  12. Lovely pics. Iv'e never seen this type of wild bird around here before.
  13. When it happened to mine, I kept it in the house for a few days to keep it clean and dry while the skin in the nail area hardened up and dried out. The bitch kept it clean herself - you know what it's like, you can't stop them licking at it. Just had a wee check there, there is now a wee hard stumpy nail now, not much beyond the toe. I think mine damaged hers jumping out of the car which she jumps out of every day in life - just one of those things!
  14. I agree with this. We had a terrible fusty smell in the airing cupboard a few years ago....on investigation it was a wee dead mouse. It was hard to believe that such a stink could come from something so small! All the towels and bed clothes had to be thrown away. What a stink! To this day we keep a baited trap in there just incase.
  15. That is sickening! Hope you get them back and get the lowlifes that took them.
  16. Lovely dogs. The pup looks full of character!
  17. What would he be suitable for? Riding or driving? What size is he likely to make?
  18. Has this happened just recently? That looks like it is hanging by a thread and ready to come away. My bitch lost one of hers about 6 months ago, in the end she just nibbled it off herself within a few hours. The nail never grew back to its full length but she is ok and sound.
  19. Some very honest answers there. I suppose to a dog in hunting mode certain running deer, sheep and goats would seem similar.
  20. But what is the fat man in the red suit and beard bringing for you?
  21. Some good pictures there. Good effort everyone!
