I did do a black & white one but didnt put that one on........ the kids enjoyed themselves a lot & were tucking into a beef dinner as i left :laugh:

I went to my moms today as she & my dad were looking after my brothers kids so i took some bubbles to help entertain them i thought maybe the okder one wouldnt join in & find it a little to babyish now ......... great fun day & i dont know who enjoyed it more me or them Just a few pics from the day

Do you think so .. i think i will have to get some ply wood then .. i could throttle the little shit :laugh: Was he doing the great escape across your lawn i took him over the fields yesterday in the wildflowers & he took a chunk out of my arm .. :laugh: he has really being quite unruly & terribly randy at the moment i had to run after him he is so quick .. mind it got him out for an hour & we had a bit of time out He looks a quick little git i found out just how quick yesterday ... like a longdog he was off like a shot :laugh:

My hobs eaten a hole in his run tonight.. so i have put him in a carrier box for the night in the shed i have to mend his run in the morning .. i have enough weldmesh to do the job but i have to take into accont the pipe that leads from the hutch to the run if i cut the mesh to fit round the pipe will it be strong enough to hold him in naturally i dont want him escaping again .. i just need some quick ideas to secure the cut bits of mesh .. or shall i try to mould it round the tube & cable tie it tight ?

Thats bad news .. on one can answer that question really.. its anyones quess why they have done this .. maybe best let nature deal with it .. still not nice to know they have eaten some of there young .. dont get to downhearted about it .. its happens to us all

The drug used is Proligestone (Delvosteron by Intervet UK) its one of the few things actually licences to use on ferrets so i am supprised they didnt know this ... £60 is a decent price for a spay .. you may well find other vets quote up to £30 just for the jill jab that will need doing again .. if you have no intention of breeding this jill in the future depending on the cost your quoted for jabs elsewhere i would get her speyed

if you have rabbit put that in for them .. they will eat the dry stuff but imo the whole carcass is better for them

The kit was trying to climb the mesh with the jills to get the rabbit when I opened the front, so it should be a nice strong ferret when its weened, this is one of the chubbies you had your eye on Well your doing summat right looks a cracking little hob .... are the others from that same litter doing as well as that one 4 wasnt it ? Yep! All the same size, and doing just as well, I expect the others to be out to eat later in the day, once ones out, its all out . I will keep looking in today, and if four come out I will try to get you a vid

if you just want one ferret try the nearest ferret rescue as they usually have ferret who cant be housed with others .. so theres always the odd one or two who need to be kept as lone ferrets

I can only speak from experience .. i had a vasectomised hob i was able to leave in with the entire jills ..spayed jills & castrated hobs all year round.. he would serve the jills in turn & tended not to bother them once he had done his job.... naturally if your hobs bothering the females constantly & marking there necks even though he has brought them out of season you may have to remove him .... he may not be like that & if he isnt bothering the jills all the time i would leave him where he is Just keep an eye on the group & act accordingly Cheers Kay.......

The dogs had a quick run round tonight Madge was on top form taking advantage of my good nature & putting me on my arse little git :laugh: .. there not up to much but the dogs enjoyed it
