Just a couple of photos of madge .. she had a bath earlier the water was brown :laugh: then she lay in the dust ... oh well she smells all clean now

greyhound ferrets arnt small ... typically there long lean animals i dont mean skinny with a roach back . not these new fangled '' micro '' ferrets They were dubbed greyhound ferrets because of there overall shape .. i think people are quite astonished these days if they see a ferret thats less than 3 kilos in weight & has to roll about like a seal

he is really changing colour with this moult .. he was a lot darker last summer

If you have a plentiful supply of rabbit use that... i have never had fleas or tick problems feeding whole rabbit ........... i use shavings in the run & paper in the bedding box ..... make sure you use small guage mesh as ferrets will escape from the fronts of cages if its a chicken wire sized gap

Why would you want her to have a second litter .. that will near enough finnish her off ... its not my ferret Kay my jill had 11 kits and isnt back in season,i was asked to find out as much i could about her coming back in season so early after having 3 kits I have never had a jill come back into season after she has been brought out either jill jab or vasectomised hob route... my ferrets tend not to come into season untill around march time here .... so i waited till they had been in about 10 days then got them jabbed so it was probably early april when they were done & in the

My dogs arnt kennelled outside ... but i dont leave them in the same room unless i am there .. they sleep separately... i have seen the warning signs from my bitch that the dog isnt welcome on her bed in the day ... there also fed one outside & one inside

He is a couple of yrs old .. i had to give him a tiny bit of that malt paste to keep him still .i couldnt photograph the jills there like lightening & as i was on my own i wouldnt chance them escaping into the gardens next door

You can clearly tell the difference on tiny kits as the albinos will have a pink slit where the eye is still sealed up & polecat coloured & the other colours will be dark

i had to use some malt paste stuff to keep him still long enough to get the photos .. he would have run off with a chicken wing

This is a very good friend of my husband ..probably the biggest rogue on 2 legs my husband & his son were best friends .. sadly his son died at 35 from a heart attack ... this whippet he has now is a pet as the old boys legs arnt so good now but he taught my husband & his son fieldcraft ..
